Loadsa deafenining gas, even before we scored
Smith and Nichols up front and we look potent. Weird
Tommy Nichs scores. It must be Christmas
Midfield missing. Their goal was coming
Mayonnaise all over the pitch
Tractor boys pushy but getting decisions. Number 9 good

Nichols & Smith up top, we won't be punching above our weight today, would love to see it happen, but just cannot see it, goals if any, will need to come from elsewhere... you were saying!! assisted by? What do I know!...pleased as punch!....Smith unlucky not to get a second!...

Ipswich playing good football but we're defending well.
Think we may have a lot more defending to do 2nd half.

First ever away league goal for Tom and his first away goal since March 2017 for Posh at Chesterfield.
927 gasheads at Ipswich in a crowd of 18,000.

Full time won 2-1 five away wins in our last six matches. Only second team to win at Ipswich this season

Nerve racking but enjoyed that.
Still can't believe our league position but there's no arguing we are hard to beat.

Haven't got back yet!
Omg what a performance and result! Scenes at the end will make hairs on backs of necks stand on end for ages.
We may not be the most skilful, the most easy in eye to watch. What gets us through (especially today) was heart. Stamina. Organisation. Stubbornness in defence. Throwing yourself at shots. Running for your life. Passion. Endeavour. Covering each other. Most of all, teamwork..
This is a team that today played as well as anything I have seen against a decent side, away from hone! ? Us. We deserved everything and handled ourselves with dignity.
Keeps. Rollin. Alfie. Craig. Rodders. Tommy Nich. Tyler. All were worthy of m o m.
Whom wasn't m o m was their ref. What a disgrace. Every 50/50 appeared to be given to home side. If I've seen a keeper wasting time at Mem once, probably seen it multiples of times, we do it and tis worthy of booking!(?) Grrrrr...
Apart from that, a good drink and sing song.... jingle bells don't get sung much these days but as the song goes after the match outside..... WE'RE BRISTOL ROVERS, WE DO WHAT WE WANT! ๐
Fantastic day to be a GasHead and GC on the pitch at the end was emotional toset us off again.... brilliant.... UptheGas!

WE'RE BRISTOL ROVERS, WE DO WHAT WE WANT! ๐ Fantastic day to be a GasHead and GC on the pitch at the end was emotional toset us off again.... brilliant.... UptheGas! Just back and agree with all of this = fantastic performance from start to finish. All excellent but special mention to Smith and Nichols, Rodman, Kilgour, Jaakola, Tony Craig and especially Menayese who looked like a seasoned pro rather than one with a handful of games to his name. My eldest boy's first away win - made even more special by stopping at Reading services and the players coming in as we were there. Ref was an absolute shocker - another sphincter who thinks it's all about him. Speaking to Ollie Clarke in the services he was told by the lino he was OK to go on, and the p***k with a whistle dishes out a second yellow - ludicrous reffing. I've told my boy that being Gas, we don't get many away day like this so to enjoy it while we can. We're both going to bed with huge grins on our faces. Singing and support was great too. Brilliant at the end when Coughlin and the players came over to us. We really need to get behind this group and Coughlin now, and who knows what might happen. I agree that some of our football is not pretty, but I love the way we defend if our lives depend upon it and have become so hard to beat. If only all away days were like this. We owed them one too for the Brian Daniel and Ray Cashley ruined FA Cup ties. Get in!!!!!!!!!!!
