We have heard a few times that we are at our limit ref the league limit on wages.
Can somebody explain to me how we have suddenly increased our player numbers and kept under this limit?

I don't believe anybody has come out and said that we are at the limit of the FPP rules. They have just said that we are governed by FPP rules and therefore cant just go out and sign the sort of players that some have suggested.

The past 4 seasons we have nearly gotten past the first round of anything.
This year we made it to round 3 of the FA cup and have had a decent run in others. We also probably earned a few quid in compensation for Cogs.
Some of the loans we have had in were probably freebies too. So add that to the budget and it’s allowed us to bring a few faces.

There is a nagging issue for me anyway. Was wael all set to back coughlan in the same way as he backed garner in the january window?

I wouldnt have said there was any reason why he wouldn't. It depends on the type of targets that cogs would have wanted of course and the fact we have bought in 7 players says that the owners are wiliing to back their manager, in the same way they did with DC before GC.

TN out = all the new signings in (including contributory wages of loan players). Very finely balanced. Simples! 🤭

they are all kids who have no experience, and so are on LOW wages Partly true but blackman and ginnelly have good experience and daly was at times in the palace premier league squad and was i believe on a long term contract. Also the 3 permanent signings are on 2 and a half year deals which is a substantial financial outlay.
