0202bo2ba, Personally I felt that TN was the best of a number of evils but do not disagree with him being sent out on loan as his goalscoring record like all the forwards we had in the first half of the season other than JCH was disgusting. harrybuckle, 3.5 or 4 for Ollie Clarke was probably a bit generous yesterday but as regards your point on whether they have to be Under 23 to join Rovers I have to admit that is my big worry with Rovers at the moment is that you can only have so many young players and if we replace all our biggest paid players with Cheap youngsters we could be visiting League 2 fairly soon. If you are saying 12 then 12 is correct. I hadn't counted to be honest-lazy reporting lol. I thought that Garner was named as new Manager on Dec 23rd, so first game was AFC? That would make it, including his short absence; AFC Fleetwood MKD Coventry Stevenage Doncaster Coventry Rotherham Fleetwood Bolton Coventry That's what the official site says anyway. Harry, what do they have wrong? Why are people forgetting the Peterborough 0-0? Our last actual win was Plymouth away in cup replay. That means Rovers have not won for twelve fo you agree now? For statos out there club record of league games without a win in the same season happened in seasons 1965/66, 1980/81 and most recently 2001/02.

Ah, I see, fair enough, you and Steve are talking about one thing, I'm talking about something slightly different. 11 games for Garner, 12 games for the club. Yep, you are right.

There were other options. Rodman being forced forward. Or Sercombe. Youth being drafted in. Or my nan.
Nichols was an anomaly after two years and your own (and my own) words tbh.
But hey your evils and mine are different.
Thanks for getting some of my name right btw ! (I could have said something negative about getting some of my name incorrect, but see above for me half pint full ideas as opposed to your half pint empty! Haha! Only being sardonic my friend! 😉).

So their cup replay next week as Coventry are away will they bring more than 2500 to cheer them on against their landlords ? 12500 i think is their allocation!! sold out i believe !! Just over 6000 and they have only sold 3500. I think Cov were pissed off that Birmingham didn't reciprocate the 50/50 ticket split for the first game.

For the majority of games this season, we've given up most of possession and chances, even when we were coming from the game wondering quite how we'd managed to grind out a win.
The common theme being when the opposition have the ball we adopt a flat back 5, which leads to 2/3 of our defenders having no one to mark. This means the other team can play the ball around us, from defence to midfield, and we're chasing shadows, knackering ourselves out. So what makes things even more frustrating is when teams are able to slice through our defence, at will, when our defenders aren't marking anyone.
What is this down to? Not having anyone to mark, and when all of a sudden they arrive, players don't know which of them should step up to challenge?
Case in point here ...
The difference in this game we were in control for the first 30 minutes. I made the mistake of mentioning that Cov hadn't had a sniff, and had barely been in our half.
Then their first goal comes and they easily slice through the defence, with 2 bearing down on Tom Davies and other members of our defence still marking no one at all.
