Well we were all very up beat and looking forward to today's game and for 35 minutes we were the better team and if the match had ended then we would all still be buzzing. Agreed, we were poor for the rest of the match, and clearly not acceptable, nevertheless I expect once Ben has schooled and worked out who makes up his first eleven, our initial positivity will be vindicated. So two thirds of a game on from our best ever transfer day business, and already the manager is getting lambasted- I don't get it , I really don't get it.................. The opposition made a small adjustment on 25 mins, he didn't react to it. Nobody is lambasting him, everybody wants him to do well, but with each game where things like this happen, we are getting more concerned. I keep saying this and have said it once today already, when he walked through the door we were top of the form table, today we only have Blackpool below us, that means that even Bolton and Southend are doing better than us. From where we were that's quite incredible.

I agree, but it opened our midfield up and allowed them to control the game. You are right, if you have a system that you are confident with then stick with it, but today they adjusted what they were doing, took control, they scored, scored again, then had total control of the midfield through the second half, all we had was hoofball. We can discuss what happened if you like, but the usual suspects will just jump in with snide comments about FIFA video games and how it isn't that easy in real life. Either way, this keeps happening, opposing teams change things, get control, we can't get it back again.

Thought all the Yellows we recieved were correct!. Tom Davies (who looked aggitated from the off) stuck his leg out for no other reason than to trip the Keeper, clear as day on ifollow, with several pints on board. The substitutions made us very poor, and Josh Barrett seemed more interested in spinning on the spot and showboating rather than getting the job done. It seems we have two sets of players within our team, Coughlans Battlers & Garners Young Un's, will he be able, and more importantly, will he be given the time to shape this disjointed team into a decent League One outfit?.

On the face of it, this looks good (although as Bambi points out, we don't know the finances behind it all) The good news is that Garner now has the tools that he wants to work with. Can't expect what's pretty much a new team to click straight away, but in a couple of weeks we'll know whether or not he has a future here. Especially if we don't pick any of them

Once again, the BG called a clown is the manager, not the reactionary guzzler. I get so confused at this age.

So you remain of the view that Ben is a clown? Oh give up, you've made yourself look an idiot once today already. You saw me earlier in Asda Longwell Green wearing odd socks? Thought I'd got away with it. It is a simple enough question though Bamber. Do you still hold the 'clown' opinion on Ben that you did a few weeks ago?

You tried to be clever by making a snarling point in your usual way, it all went a bit wrong, so now you are trying to change the subject. See ya.

I've called nobody an idiot and I really did wear odd socks earlier. The subject remains the same but you clearly do not wish to answer or expand on your previously held view. I assume you have your reasons.

A simple, 'Oh, sorry about that, I didn't see what you were replying to' would have done the trick and we could have moved on to your follow up question, but that was obviously a bit of a stretch for you. Bye.

Yes I have, that you are even worse than me for being unable to admit with good grace that you've made a mistake. No doubt you'll be back, snarling and sniping again.

Anyway back to yesterday's game, it did not seem like it but the bbc stats show Gas had 13 shots to Sky Blues 5. Admittedly most of them were rushed and ended up corner post bound. This coupled with some pretty poor set pieces and a 'gawd awful' referee ( the same who allowed a blantent punch of the ball for Plymouths first goal back in October in a four nil victory against Orient) are all things that Ben cant legislate for - So let's cut him some slack please.

He is being cut slack. As said yesterday, Paul Hurst has been sacked by Scunthorpe for going 5 games without a win. Most crowds would be baying for blood long before 11 matches with no wins. Garner is a very lucky boy to have us as supporters and to still have a job.
