you just trying to wind bamber up, or is that a serious comment. Because what leaps out at me from this discussion is everybody saw a different game today.
my take. There was nothing to enjoy. It was a dogs dinner of a football match. The only controllable passes were misdirected given away passes. No one played well apart from burns. At times we were doubling up on him, but he still had the class to beat people. Barrett was no where near man of the match, ide probably give highest mark to gin ginnely. Barret was poor again. He resembles a barrel with short fat legs. Josh barrel. One team had the better of it and would have won comfortably if they had their shooting boots on, the other team nearly nicked it with a dodgy penalty.
Not trying to wind up anyone. I enjoyed the game. Sorry.
I thought the keeper dropped a huge clanger at one point. But overall he was smart off his line, is a big unit and could prove strong in the air.
I didn’t enjoy this game, thought it was a bit messy with ball in air quite a bit. Also thought the ref erratic, and that can ruin a game.
I’m quite laid back about this new era though. Have seen our home games, and the away games it allows us to watch on pad; also quite a lot of the championship televised games, and playing football seems flavour of the month?
by that I mean copying the prem stuff, ball on deck, play out from the back, lots of high pressing. 4 3 3s.
I enjoyed pre and post match but that has been a recurring them for me, ever since I started supporting the Rovers. It really doesn’t matter so long as you enjoyed it, that is a good thing. We all see things differently.
Honest question - if Rovers gets you down that much why don’t you just stay in the pub?
I can thinking of nothing worse than to pay £20 plus just to moan for 90 minutes.
Who moaned ?
Grumpy or what ! Maybe read what I write before giving out total nonsense about it eh
