Not having fans of the club as CEO's, MD or Chairman is something we are not particularly used to, it must be another part of the Eviloution that Wael bangs on about I suppose, dragging us kicking and screaming into the 21st Century!.

someone at the other place reckons he approached BCC to discuss Frooty things without Wael knowing maybe as representative of the 8% shareholding? so things all came to a head? If that's true then he deserves to be booted.

No reply about the empty box 1 then.Perhaps MS could have asked the community trust whether a local school or charity could have taken up the opportunity to fill the box at short notice? Good photo opportunity and fostering good will.I am sure Adam Tutton could have obliged but perhaps we dont talk to our community trust ? As for networking well if I was our CEO I would see one of my responsibilities was to represent OUR club at as many home and away games as I could ( perhaps I have misunderstood what the CEO of the club should be doing). As for holidays havent you noticed how long the close season is?
I'm sure ITB/1881 will correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Box 1 was now given to opposition directors and guests. Our directors and their guests have moved closer to the half way line. Did I dream that?
Is anyone really that bothered that Starnes had an appointment that he felt obliged to go to at his former club. We've been told that it was agreed by Wael, so what is the problem? It was a one off and he is meeting the requirement you outline pretty well since. He's been to far more games than I have since his appointment anyway.
I don't know why Wael's absence has been referred to as a holiday. It has been explained that he is dealing with an important family matter and I personally think it should be left there. The players and staff are being paid on time and in my opinion, Wael's immediate presence would have little impact on our current form on the field. In many clubs the President never comes to games.
From what I see when I wonder to my box is that all club directors, guests of the directors and opposition directors are in box 1. Box 10 is for the president, his family, his guests and when he isn’t there it’s used by first team players not in the squad or sometimes used for guests by the club. For example a few months back the mascot for the day and his family were in there.

For some time I've noted this subset of Rovers fans that can be classified as 'Boxologists'.
Who is sitting in which box and when seems to be of tremendous importance for some reason that I have never fully grasped.
Maybe it's because I nearly always go in the West Stand Enclosure and therefore miss out on this marvellous opportunity to engage in an afternoon's worth of box spotting while arguing about different interpretations of box theory and the underlying structure of box politics. If we ever move into a brand new modern ground with more discretely placed corporate boxes I worry that a not insignificant number of our fans will face a serious existential crisis......

I just made the potential mistake of googling the term......from Urban Dictionary - 'Someone who has dedicated there life to become a grand master in the study of the female box' More helpfully, from wikipedia......'A boxology is a representation of an organized structure as a graph of labeled nodes ("boxes") and connections between them (as lines or arrows). The concept is useful because many problems in systems design are reducible to modular "black boxes" and connections or flow channels between them'

If you are happy for box 1 to be completely empty on match day when surely it could be put to some use well thats your opinion. If away directors notify the club they will not be attending the game then ,when its empty ,a valuable resource is being wasted. Local MP,mayor , school groups ? its not beyond TG or MS to sort

They are so funny; So I wonder how much would be a fantastic sum in their eyes? Seems a bit odd that £1.2m is insignificant yet they got all stressy when Sandra gambled away about £80k. Some people eh?

Why someone can't read through and pick these things out before publishing, I really don't know. Get it right and it might seem less like a box ticking process.

It's just a typo, but quite a funny one I thought

If someone will provide a flip chart and some felt tip pens I'll give a presentation on the correct use of and it's and its to anyone involved in promoting Rovers!
