Wael cannot help being in Jordan currently, if you had the same circumstances, you would be too and football would be taking a back seat. TG is a very capable individual and I'm sure we can manage for a week without MS. that seems true to me. And taking a hol after the transfer window seems the right choice and I don't know what all the fluff is about with the Plymouth thing - networking is important in any business

No reply about the empty box 1 then.Perhaps MS could have asked the community trust whether a local school or charity could have taken up the opportunity to fill the box at short notice? Good photo opportunity and fostering good will.I am sure Adam Tutton could have obliged but perhaps we dont talk to our community trust ?
As for networking well if I was our CEO I would see one of my responsibilities was to represent OUR club at as many home and away games as I could ( perhaps I have misunderstood what the CEO of the club should be doing). As for holidays havent you noticed how long the close season is?

He thinks that Women are receptacles for incubation, not people who work in offices and continually set up little cliques and power struggles, where, unlike Men, who resolve their differences often via confrontation, Women more often resort to campaigns of reputational destruction.

Do you think I'm Mike Jay? I'm Mike Jay and so's my wife... not sure if this is an attempt at comedy but it is getting a tad pathetic. If you cant say it to my face but you can write stupid comments then you surely are a Gold keyboard warrior.

MS could have been there for all sorts of reasons. Whatever those reasons were they were sanctioned by the club so it didn't matter, especially when we had Steve and Ken as well as the owner there on that day who I take it were more than capable to hold the fort!! In their own eyes at least. BB is a hardcore Rovers fan more than anything else and is a good guy with it. He goes to almost every game. Wael cannot help being in Jordan currently, if you had the same circumstances, you would be too and football would be taking a back seat. TG is a very capable individual and I'm sure we can manage for a week without MS. With any luck Starnes doesn’t come back. As much use as a chocolate fireguard.

is he the brother of Peter Kay, the chap that writes the History of Bristol Rovers books when he's not performing stadium comedy gigs? you can see the overlap, stadium comedy and all that. Bet the bloke can't believe his luck No no. It's much more subtle than that. Both Harry Buckle and Bambi are competing for the title of Prince Machiavelli. I do think though that Harry should settle being likened to Dante, his words on here being comparable to the publication Divine Comedy. Bambi, on the other hand, has always favoured effectual truth over actual truth. Don't start again, you get cornered then end up calling people names.

As for holidays havent you noticed how long the close season is?
I'm sure ITB/1881 will correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Box 1 was now given to opposition directors and guests. Our directors and their guests have moved closer to the half way line. Did I dream that?
Is anyone really that bothered that Starnes had an appointment that he felt obliged to go to at his former club. We've been told that it was agreed by Wael, so what is the problem? It was a one off and he is meeting the requirement you outline pretty well since. He's been to far more games than I have since his appointment anyway.
I don't know why Wael's absence has been referred to as a holiday. It has been explained that he is dealing with an important family matter and I personally think it should be left there. The players and staff are being paid on time and in my opinion, Wael's immediate presence would have little impact on our current form on the field. In many clubs the President never comes to games.

Wael's box is on/near the half way line. Starnes isn't a Gashead. He's a CEO with a job to do, in my opinion, not very well at the moment. Where he goes in his own time (and it's also been agreed by Wael) does not bother me. Whether Wael being present at a game is a positive or a negative is debatable. However if he has issues and cannot attend for personal reasons, we should respect that and it should be beyond forum tittle tattle.

Mr Curly my reference to holidays concerned Starns absence not Wael Unless there are photos of MS with a knotted handkerchief hat, sat in a deckchair with a 99, I won't believe it!

someone at the other place reckons he approached BCC to discuss Frooty things without Wael knowing
maybe as representative of the 8% shareholding?
so things all came to a head?
