I have to say I think that's a good shout compared to what I've witnessed today. V Shrews at home. As a footnote....KM was on the East Terrace today amongst us plebs in the wind and rain. Begrudging respect. Although I still don't think he paid to get in.. You are right. The Weasel who sought a position on the BoD without even joining the Share Scheme was indeed on the terraces, but he had his pass around his neck, so hard to know if he paid to get in. Well done, BG......my observations exactly!

Stay, Ben does all he can on the training ground to improve the team but the old dogs that wouldn’t respond to Darrel are back to the same behaviours. His honesty in this evenings post match interview was impressive in the face of the way he was badly let down by Upson, Clarke, an unfit Sercombe and an increasingly disinterested Clarke-Harris. No intensity, no movement off the ball and quite frankly nothing short of a fraudulent non effort from serial underperforming senior players. Alfie and Rollin stood out and Jamal was excellent between the sticks.

Well, that was dismal. Steptoe is right though, I think. What's the bloody alternative?

I've heard it all now.
So it's the players' fault and nothing to do with Garner.
Lord give me strength.
I wish him nothing but health and happiness, but I want him out of Rovers as quickly as possible.

Assuming you watched the game today do you feel the performances of JCH (was he really that injured?), Leahy, Clarke and Upson were acceptable? What's the betting if one of their mates, Maher/Mansell/Hargraves, were made manager next week they'd all suddenly find their form again? For Clarke to then say in his post match interview let's puts this one off performance behind us, talking as if the other 15 out of the last 16 games haven't been mainly poor performances. We need a total clear out of players and, it now seems, coaching staff as well.

Where we are now is why.

Also wonder if maher and co are right behind the manager? Trouble is to succeed as a manager you need to overcome such obstacles or you wont make it and right now it looks as if ben wont make it.

If the board still believe in him then I agree he should stay and be allowed to clear out those who clearly have zero respect for him.

I would like Ben Garner to leave the club with immediate effect.

It seems a Dave Penny Mk2 situation, not sure the board can see this out for the last 11 games, particularly with season ticket sales starting in around a month. The big issue is that there's nobody in the squad to replace Clarke and Upson who both seem to have gone on strike, or simply lost the plot.

be allowed to clear out those who clearly have zero respect for him. Evening Post (as it will always be to some of us) are saying the players are really enjoying themselves under BG. I guess that could mean something different to what I understood when I read it

And based on what his record is going to be at the end of the season, something along the lines of P30, W2 or maybe 3, he'll be able to recruit top notch players with ease. He's done as a manager in this country, the sooner the owners accept it, the sooner the rebuilding process can begin.

It's a good job we are just about safe IMO from what would be a deserved relegation on current form, 1 win in 16 games since the Plymouth fa cup game.

If he is I hope it's not at Rovers, because he'll take us straight to L2 and then straight to the 5th tier. Supporters have been very patient, but all around me today were people getting very frustrated, trying to work out what the formation in front of the back line was and what the tactics were. Lots of muttering about him having had long enough, having brought players in, and everything he does just makes things worse. It's not even a discussion any more.

How many wins does he need to secure by the end of the season? You know as well as I do, it's not an exact number, maybe 3, 4, 5 would do, if there were signs of progress, but he's had around 20 games now and it's obvious to everybody that he has no idea what he's doing or what to do next. I make it that in League games he's averaging about 0.5 points per match. What more do you need to know?
