We're definitely at the calm after the storm stage. Everything's hinging on the stadium go-ahead, or so it appears. After the never a dull moment of recent weeks it's all gone quiet over there. It's so unlike us.

I agree 100%. I really wish the club could reinvent itself from top to bottom. We desperately need to pull together as a club and drag ourselves out of this hole that we have dug for ourselves. This process requires commitment from the board though. I'm not sure they are willing to do all that is required. The problem is that the pool of supporters who are prepared to "pull together" is getting smaller and smaller. Even many of those who are willing, do so with an angry heart. Surely there are not many left who are completely "blind"; in their deepest thoughts even they must question and put on a brave face? However there are loads ready to join just as soon as the Board is prepared to swallow its pride a little. In fact they probably don't even have to go quite that far. Just an acknowledgement might help. Just an indication of what is going on and how they are going to implement the changes they have discovered are needed as a result of their review of themselves. What do we get... SILENCE. I'm not sure, without us showing in a united way how angry we really are, they have a scooby as to what we really think and why...

I didnt realise that we needed an A level in English to post on this Forum. I realised that there were spelling mistakes but in my defence it was on an iphone whilst sitting on a crowded train going to London and I couldnt clearly see what was being typed until after i hit the create button. In future I will just post from the laptop !!

Communication does not cost a penny and the rewards are huge. It would not take much effort to turn this club around IMO. Shame. :-(

Well You fought wrong didnt ya Misspelt or misspelled? It's politically incorrect these days to refer to the marital status of a spelling error - it's msspelled or msspelt now Most of the major news coming from other clubs at or around our level at the moment seems to be about how much hot water they're in, so in some ways I'm grateful for the silence. Getting to the bottom of all the rumours that are floating around trying to fill it can get frustrating though, and I agree that BRFC could have knocked some of them on the head without giving away their gameplan. Generously assuming that they've got one

'O' levels are acceptable as long as they are grade B or above.

What nonsense. Typical of the Rose Tint brigade, 2nd best always acceptable. Nothing less than an A across all subjects at the old "O" Level standard. Sadly the lack of maths at an appropriate level is all to obvious, especially at board level.

I used to read the poetry and economics of Milton and Keynes on a bench on Wimbledon Common.

This is all far to "highbrow" for us low life rose tinters to absorb so early on this fine, if not wet Wednesday morning whilst drinking 3rd grade coffee from a franchised coffee outlet in very highbrow Westbury on trym, the home of the best computer shop in the world....
