Thanks swissgas,i will not quote you so as not to elongate the post further. The gap between the 2 clubs is quite depressing i must admit.
I would argue dolman made city a bigger club than ours and lansdown ensures that they are a much bigger club than ours.
But in the conference and league 2 seasons with higgs at the helm and the overall situation looking grim good attacking and admittedly winning football brought rising crowds and optimism through what happened on the pitch.
The big failure with the current owners are that they have not delivered the big things that wael talked of when they arrived.
The problem for me is that there is no "smoking gun" or concrete evidence that they are harming the club or intending to run off and leave us homeless etc.
I personally cannot accept theory and hunches or suspicions of dark things around the corner.
There is also very little evidence that fans wanting owners out achieve their aims and even if there was i am not certain that wael/hani going would improve things.
For me the fruit market is just disneyland rubbish.
So in the meantime i would like to see the team play with more width and flair so i can enjoy the football.
Ps ex rovers player dave stone was one of my managers in the western league, not sure if you know him?
Very funny but also determined man and still a very good player in our training 5-a-sides.
