Development Squad striker Deon Moore has today joined Billericay Town on a one-month loan deal.Worrying it isn't at a higher level as they are only Part -Timers.

Some experience. I cannot understand why he couldn't come on in FACup, or indeed EFL etc.

I assume this is to get him “in the shop window” as I assume he won’t get a new deal in January when it currently expires. Good for him as he gets games etc and good for us as hopefully we save some wages!

I wish he'd have gone on loan to our first team squad and sent someone else to Billericay.
...but I really don't dislike Billericay Dickie that much. Probably cos he's doin alright.
Think this is end of days for DM with us.

If he is the real deal he will score goals at billericay and get a new deal at rovers. Are they creating chances? Would Vardy drop into Rovers and score goals?

Well there mid table with 21 goals in 14 games so yes they are creating chances. If clarke-harris can score goals for rovers so could vardy.

Cracking move ! Can somebody please explain how going to a Mickey mouse team like billericay can improve you as a player. Surely it would make you worse.

Hard to see the logic here if he really has potential - he already had a loan spell in NL South with Bath City last season, in a team who are currently 9 points ahead of Billericay this season. I saw him playing for Bath and wasn't particularly impressed, but I assumed from the background noise on here that he'd improved a lot. The fact that he's dropping a full 3 divisions just to get a game makes me think there might be more hype than substance where he's concerned.

That doesn't make sense. Lets say TN with history and games under his belt, somebody (please) should take him on loan if offered. A young'un needs to have had some game time for a League 2 club or Conference club to take a punt. There are exceptions, BHA. We must see something to offer any contract, and lets be fair EFL is hardly worth risking JCH for.

He was at Hungerford Prior to Maidenhead.
