That's at least what it felt like to me today. Parts of the store closed to save money. Half price products on offer that nobody wants. Catering services halved. Pathetic from the team pathetic from the club pathetic from the manager.

Five full stops, only one exclamation mark, and capital letters used only at the start of sentences and for initial letters? Good work, Kegan. I knew you were capable. Please convey my best wishes to Mrs Degg.

No ball boys on empty terraces!
Agree re food. Lunchtime ko therefore the people wanting to buy food would differ compared to 1500 ko. Despite low attendance wonder how many went in search of a pasty?

Don't forget, Kegan is the barely literate one, your other log in can construct a sentence and often, a paragraph.

If you are expecting a crowd in the region of 4,000 then WHY would you employ staff to facilitate 8,000 ?

The attendance is a shame. First round matches ought to be on season tickets. Subsequent rounds then reap the bonuses. Hey, @kegandegg, who are you?

I guess op is half closed, instead of half open kinda guy?
Was there anything anyone wanted that would otherwise be available (apart from viewing the game in West/Family terrace or SWStand)?
The club appear to be cutting their cloth accordingly, living within a means, structurally planning, making business decisions that are fluid, making common sense decisions that reflect the demand.
Expect to see more of the same Wednesday.
I understand anyone's confusion when confronted with this for the first time, but what is the problem?

Poor form to switch the match to a dreadful early sunday kick off just for a few obscure highlights on TV. TV rules football and drives down attendances but nobody seems to care.

I care and have been saying for many years that every single Sky / BT payment made is another nail in the coffin of the game.

Immaculate Rememberance Day Celebration. We will never forget them but forget everything after 1.45 we certainly will. When it comes to Football it was a bad day at the office and summed up by the Matchday experience on and off the pitch. Thankfully there are far more important things than football in life none more than those who gave their lives so we could live ours.

All you dickheads on here may mock but this club your club is dying faster than you all realise. Been supporting for 35 years home and away. Will be moving soon making it virtually impossible to get to matches via public transport. Can't wait , radio Bristol here I come. The best of luck lads.

It's not the state of the club that people are mocking Kegs, it's how excited you are getting. And your random punctuation etc. Here's the real danger as I see it. PP granted for Fruit Market site, possibly with present owners of that site having one arm firmly up behind their backs. Developers do the part of the project that they want to do, i.e. the bit that makes money, so that would be the surrounding developments. Mem site sold. Then the wriggling starts and, as with Sainsbury's, the contract to build the new stadium isn't quite as watertight as it may have appeared. Present owners are long since gone, with their money back. Football club is homeless. Again. Not sure if the Share Scheme could ever have achieved it's original target, but this is exactly what it's main objective was to protect us against. One thing's for sure, the moment that the SC sent Brain in to a Board meeting to vote for dilution of the shares, the objective became impossible to achieve.

Regrettably though, like King Canute, neither you nor I can turn back the tide. I read in a Sunday paper many years ago that games would eventually be played in empty stadiums for the benefit of TV only. Inexorably coming about.

What we're mocking is that you seem to think you are telling us something we don't know and have known for some time. But it's more to do with the game generally. Like the rest of life.
