Sunday 4th August 2024 - The Hundred Men - Headingley, Leeds - Manchester Originals Men won the toss and decided to field
Northern Superchargers Men - 167-5 (100 balls) Brook 58, Clark 33, Hose 29, Fazalhaq Farooqi 2-14
Manchester Originals Men - 153-6 (100 balls) Hurst 78, Salt 40, Santner 2-23, Dwarshuis 2-28
Northern Superchargers Men win by 14 runs
Match report by Tim Oscroft, BBC Sport journalist.Manchester Originals missed a great chance to record their first win in this year's men's The Hundred as a Harry Brook-inspired Northern Superchargers held on for a 14-run victory at Headingley. Chasing 168 after Brook's 58, the Originals were 88-0 with 50 balls to go when Phil Salt was run out after failing to ground his bat or feet when attempting a quick single. Matty Hurst hit a brilliant 78 before being run out by a piece of quick thinking by Superchargers wicketkeeper Nicholas Pooran, who was alert enough to discard a glove before throwing down the stumps with the Originals opener short of his ground. None of the other visiting batters reached double figures, with spinner Mitchell Santner grabbing two wickets in two deliveries and seamer Matthew Potts conceding only five runs in his final set of five balls. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/88/Northern_Superchargers_logo.svg/200px-Northern_Superchargers_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/49/Manchester_Originals_logo.svg/200px-Manchester_Originals_logo.svg.png

Monday 5th August 2024 - The Hundred Women - Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - Welsh Fire Women won the toss and decided to field
Southern Brave Women - 84 all out (91 balls) Adams 17, Wyatt 14, Kemp 11, Matthews 3-16
Welsh Fire Women - 88-3 (90 balls) Beaumont 34, Bryce 20 not out, Cheatle 2-8
Welsh Fire Women win by 7 wickets
Match report:Tammy Beaumont top-scored with 34 as in-form Welsh Fire continued their impressive campaign in The Hundred women's competition with a seven-wicket win over struggling Southern Brave. Beaumont had scores of 4, 5 and 0 in her past three innings, but the England batter played a key hand on a tricky pitch with a composed knock as Fire chased down Brave's 84 with 10 balls to spare. Lauren Cheatle took 2-8 to briefly inject some hope into Brave's efforts in the field but Jess Jonassen and Sarah Bryce, who finished unbeaten on 20 and 13 respectively, calmly steered the hosts home. Earlier, Smriti Mandhana had fallen for a duck from the first ball of the game, off Freya Davies' bowling, to set the tone for a miserable Brave batting effort. Skipper Georgia Adams was top-scorer with just 17, and one of only three Brave players, alongside Danni Wyatt and Freya Kemp, to make double figures. Fire all-rounder Hayley Matthews led the way with the ball as she collected 3-16, while Davies and Jonassen both claimed two wickets apiece. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7c/Welsh_Fire_logo.svg/200px-Welsh_Fire_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e5/Southern_Brave_logo.svg/200px-Southern_Brave_logo.svg.png

Monday 5th August 2024 - The Hundred Men - Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - Welsh Fire Men won the toss and decided to field
Southern Brave Men - 139-5 (100 balls) Vince 73 not out, du Plooy 21, Haris Rauf 2-22
Welsh Fire Men - 97 all out (95 balls) Willey 21, Bairstow 16, Mills 4-16, Briggs 3-14
Southern Brave Men win by 42 runs
Match report by Timothy Abraham, BBC Sport Journalist.James Vince struck a peerless unbeaten 73 and Tymal Mills took a skilful 4-16 as Southern Brave cruised to a 42-run victory over Welsh Fire in The Hundred men's competition. Brave skipper Vince delivered another stylish masterclass with an innings which combined elegant strokeplay and powerful hitting to help Brave reach 139-5 after being asked to bat first on an awkward pitch. Leus du Plooy (21) and Kieron Pollard (17) hoisted a couple of sixes each to support Vince as Haris Rauf finished with 2-22 for Fire. The hosts' reply never really got going as they struggled to find the boundary in the face of a Brave bowling attack expertly managed by Vince, as the visitors diligently applied pressure from the outset Jonny Bairstow briefly flickered for Fire before he ramped Craig Overton and was superbly caught by Mills for 16. Spinner Danny Briggs exploited the scoreboard pressure and bowled intelligently as he finished with 3-14 but experienced left-arm quick Mills finished the pick of the attack. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7c/Welsh_Fire_logo.svg/200px-Welsh_Fire_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e5/Southern_Brave_logo.svg/200px-Southern_Brave_logo.svg.png

Tuesday 6th August 2024 - The Hundred Women - Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester - Manchester Originals Women won the toss and decided to bat
Manchester Originals Women - 125-4 (100 balls) Wolvaardt 38, Ecclestone 26 not out, Mooney 22, Wellington 2-22
Oval Invincibles Women - 127-3 (93 balls) Scholfield 48 not out, Athapaththu 33, Winfield-Hill 20, Monaghan 2-7
Oval Invincibles Women win by 7 wickets
Match report by Sam Drury, BBC Sport journalist.Paige Scholfield made an unbeaten 48 as Oval Invincibles secured an important seven-wicket win against Manchester Originals. Set 126 to win at Old Trafford, Invincibles were faltering at 60-3 from 56 balls when Scholfield came to the crease. But the South Africa-born right-hander shared an unbroken stand of 67 with Marizanne Kapp to get the visitors over the line with seven balls to spare. Amanda-Jade Wellington was the pick of the Invincibles bowlers, taking 2-22 including the key wicket of Originals opener Laura Wolvaardt. After a slow start, Originals accelerated as Wolvaardt reached 38 from 28 balls before a superb low catch from Ryana MacDonald-Gay saw her fall to Wellington. The Originals' progress stalled and it took an entertaining 26 not out from 15 balls from captain Sophie Ecclestone late on to drag them to a defendable total. However, despite working their way into a handy position with the ball, Originals were unable to break the Scholfield-Kapp partnership and fell to their third loss of the campaign. Victory lifts Invincibles up to second in the table, just a point behind leaders Welsh Fire, while Originals are a further three points back in sixth. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/49/Manchester_Originals_logo.svg/200px-Manchester_Originals_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/96/Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg/200px-Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg.png

Tuesday 6th August 2024 - The Hundred Men - Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester - Manchester Originals Men won the toss and decided to field
Oval Invincibles Men - 164-8 (100 balls) S.Curran 68, Jacks 41, Billings 24, Sikandar Raza 2-17
Manchester Originals Men - 161-7 (100 balls) Hurst 50, Salt 34, Walter 28, S.Curran 2-16
Oval Invincibles Men win by 3 runs
Match report by Sam Drury, BBC Sport journalist.Sam Curran was the star for Oval Invincibles once again as he led them to a dramatic three-run win over Manchester Originals at Old Trafford. The England all-rounder smashed six sixes as he made 68 from 38 balls with the bat before defending seven runs from the last five balls to seal the win. Curran dismissed Jamie Overton with the first ball of the final five then, with Originals needing four off the last delivery, the left-armer had Usama Mir caught on the boundary. It was a familiar story for Originals as, chasing 165 to win, they failed to take advantage of an excellent start with the bat. Another half-century from opener Matty Hurst, in partnership with skipper Phil Salt, helped them to 89-0 but - just as they did against Northern Superchargers in their last game - they crumbled. Big hitting from Paul Walter and Overton got them close but Curran held his nerve to condemn them to their to a fifth straight defeat and officially end their hopes of making the qualifer. Meanwhile, Invincibles' fourth win in five puts them second in the table, level on points with leaders Southern Brave. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/49/Manchester_Originals_logo.svg/200px-Manchester_Originals_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/96/Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg/200px-Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg.png

Tuesday 6th August 2024 - The Hundred Women - Edgbaston, Birmingham - Northern Superchargers Women won the toss and decided to bat
Northern Superchargers Women - 115-5 (100 balls) Davidson-Richards 49 not out, Sutherland 30, Perry 2-13
Birmingham Phoenix Women - 54 all out (86 balls) Devine 20, Smale 16, Perry 7, Smith 3-12, Wareham 3-12
Northern Superchargers Women win by 61 runs
Match report by Joe Rindl, BBC Sport journalist.Birmingham Phoenix were bowled out for the lowest total in the Hundred's history as they were resoundingly beaten by Northern Superchargers at Edgbaston. Chasing 116 to win, the hosts were dismissed for 54 - lowering the previous record 64 all out the Oval Invincibles managed against the Superchargers on Friday. The Phoenix's 86-ball innings was also the third shortest for a team to be bowled out in the Hundred's women's competition. Opener Sophie Devine struck 20 off 25 balls and Seren Smale posted 16 off 20, but no other Phoenix player made it past seven with the bat. Spinners Linsey Smith and Georgia Wareham starred with the ball for the visitors both finishing with figures of 3-12. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d1/Birmingham_Phoenix_logo.svg/200px-Birmingham_Phoenix_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/88/Northern_Superchargers_logo.svg/200px-Northern_Superchargers_logo.svg.png

Birmingham Phoenix Men - 86-0 (39 balls) Ben Duckett 43 not out & Moeen Ali 37 not out
Birmingham Phoenix Men win by 10 wickets
Match report by Joe Rindl, BBC Sport journalist.Ben Stokes was bowled for a first-ball duck in his first Hundred match for three years as his Northern Superchargers side were convincingly beaten by Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston. Stokes was dismissed by a brilliant Tim Southee yorker as the Superchargers struggled to 83 all out - the third-lowest total in the Hundred's men's competition. England's Ben Duckett (43 off 20) and Moeen Ali (37 off 21) then led Phoenix to the competition's first 10-wicket victory in just 39 balls. Moeen struck a six off the final ball to secure the fastest chase in the Hundred as Phoenix moved above their opponents into third place on six points. England captain Stokes was playing in just his third Hundred match and his first since the competition's debut season in 2021. Before the match he confirmed to Sky Sports he is hoping to play in the Superchargers' remaining three group matches before England's Test series with Sri Lanka, which starts at Old Trafford on 21st August. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d1/Birmingham_Phoenix_logo.svg/200px-Birmingham_Phoenix_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/88/Northern_Superchargers_logo.svg/200px-Northern_Superchargers_logo.svg.png

London Spirit Women - 127-7 (100 balls) Sharma 30 not out, Knight 29, Lanning 23, Gardner 3-23
Trent Rockets Women win by 31 runs
Match report:Trent Rockets boosted their hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the women's Hundred with a comfortable 31-run win over London Spirit at Trent Bridge. The home side reached 158-5 after openers Grace Scrivens (55 off 43) and Bryony Smith (34 off 22) shared a 74-run for the first wicket - the highest partnership of this year's competition so far. Smith was unluckily run-out while backing up at the non-striker's end and 20-year-old Scrivens was bowled by Sarah Glenn after reaching her first Hundred half-century. Rockets spinner Ash Gardner took two wickets in two balls to leave Spirit 21-2 after 23 balls, finishing with figures of 3-23. Heather Knight (29 off 20) offered some faint hope before the Spirit captain was dismissed by spinner Alana King (3-23). Rockets end a three-match losing streak to move into fifth in the table, one place behind Spirit. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/6d/Trent_Rockets_svg_logo.svg/200px-Trent_Rockets_svg_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/65/London_Spirit_logo.svg/200px-London_Spirit_logo.svg.png

London Spirit Men - 144 all out (97 balls) Critchley 37, Jennings 31, Rashid Khan 4-24
Trent Rockets Men win by 22 runs
Match report:Alex Hales smashed 68 off 42 balls and Rashid Khan took four wickets in a sublime spell to help Trent Rockets beat London Spirit by 22 runs in the men's Hundred. Former England batter Hales hit three fours and five sixes in a superb knock as Rockets posted 166-4 at Trent Bridge. Hales shared a 69-run partnership with Tom Banton (36 off 25) and a 58-run stand with Joe Root (32 off 23) to punish some wayward Spirit bowling. In reply, Spirit slumped to 52-5 as batters struggled with the leg-spin of Rashid (4-24), who took two wickets in two balls and a wicket with his final delivery. Matt Critchley (37 off 30) tried to haul Spirit back into the game but they were all out for 144 in 97 balls. Oval Invincibles Women - 79-4 (65 balls) Kapp 26 not out, Capsey 19, Winfield-Hill 17, Cheatle 2-6
Southern Brave Women - 85-3 (64 balls) Wyatt 46 not out, Tryon 9 not out, Bouchier 16
Southern Brave Women win by 7 wickets (DLS Method)
Match report by Mike Peter, BBC Sport Journalist.Bottom-of-the-table Southern Brave won their first match of the women's Hundred competition with a seven-wicket victory over Oval Invincibles at The Oval. Opener Danni Wyatt hit an unbeaten 46 as Brave chased a revised target of 83 with one ball to spare. Put into bat, the Invincibles struggled with an excellent opening spell from Lauren Cheatle (2-6), losing Chamari Athapaththu for a third-ball duck and Alice Capsey for 19. With the score at 38-2 after 35 balls, the match was suspended because of rain for 90 minutes and reduced to 65 balls for each team upon the resumption. Tilly Corteen-Coleman, 16, took the wickets of Lauren Winfield-Hill and Paige Scholfield from successive balls, but Marizanne Kapp (26*) anchored the remainder of her side's innings as they closed on 79-4. Brave's Smriti Mandhana was run out for just two early in the reply, but Wyatt was dropped twice in her innings, by Mady Villiers when on five and by Capsey, having made 14. Maia Bouchier (16) and Freya Kemp (3) fell cheaply, but Wyatt dominated the strike to lead the defending champions towards their target and then smashed Sophia Smale for six over square leg to seal Brave's first success in six matches. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/96/Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg/200px-Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e5/Southern_Brave_logo.svg/200px-Southern_Brave_logo.svg.png

Oval Invincibles Men - 120-4 (85 balls) Cox 46 not out, S.Curran 35, Malan 14, Jordan 1-14
Oval Invincibles Men win by 6 wickets
Match report by Mike Peter, BBC Sport Journalist.Oval Invincibles knock Southern Brave off the top of the table with a six-wicket win. Sam Curran was instrumental again with 35 from 18 balls and Jordan Cox was fantastic with an intelligent unbeaten 46 from 29 balls. James Vince's fifty aside, Brave needed a lot to go their way defend 118 after Tom Curran's four wickets kept a lid on their innings otherwise and they just couldn't get there. Match Hero Sam Curran: "Huge win, the two in-form teams at the moment, top of the table clash. We saw the conditions, a little bit of rain in the air, I thought we bowled really well. Coxy played really well to anchor the win. Really enjoying the environment here. I feel this team has got it right and hopefully we can continue that for the rest of the tournament." upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/96/Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg/200px-Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e5/Southern_Brave_logo.svg/200px-Southern_Brave_logo.svg.png

Saturday 10th August 2024 - The Hundred Women - Utilita Bowl, Southampton - Southern Brave Women won the toss and decided to field
Trent Rockets Women - 155-7 (100 balls) Sciver-Brunt 60 not out, Scrivens 36, Gardner 18, Bell 3-36
Southern Brave Women - 131-6 (100 balls) Tryon 47 not out, Mandhana 42, Adams 27, Stonehouse 2-10
Trent Rockets Women win by 24 runs
Match report by Mike Peter, BBC Sport Journalist.Trent Rockets kept their hopes of reaching the knockouts alive with a comfortable 24-run win over Southern Brave in the women's Hundred competition at the Utilita Bowl. An impressive Rockets score of 155, featuring an unbeaten 60 from England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt, proved impossible for Brave to chase, despite some late fireworks from Chloe Tryon. Put in to bat, Rockets saw Linsey Smith run out from the first ball of the innings and Nat Wraith bowled by Lauren Cheatle for 12. But Sciver-Brunt put on partnerships of 62 with Grace Scrivens (36) and 33 with Ash Gardner (18) to put Rockets in command. Lauren Bell took three wickets in the final balls of the innings, including Australia internationals Heather Graham and Alana King from consecutive deliveries. Brave were 1-2 within four balls, as teenager Alexa Stonehouse dismissed the dangerous pair of Danni Wyatt and Maia Bouchier for ducks. Smriti Mandhana struck 42 to help rebuild the home side's innings, but her dismissal sparked three wickets falling within seven balls to leave Brave 86-6 with 24 balls remaining. South Africa all-rounder Tyron (47*) clubbed four fours and two sixes to drag the Brave score towards respectability, but they finished well short of the total required. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e5/Southern_Brave_logo.svg/200px-Southern_Brave_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/6d/Trent_Rockets_svg_logo.svg/200px-Trent_Rockets_svg_logo.svg.png

Saturday 10th August 2024 - The Hundred Men - Utilita Bowl, Southampton - Trent Rockets Men won the toss and decided to bat
Trent Rockets Men - 126-8 (100 balls) Banton 30, Gregory 19, Lyth 16, Root 16, Jordan 3-22
Southern Brave Men - 127-8 (99 balls) Pollard 45, Davies 28, Vince 28, Turner 3-24
Southern Brave Men win by 2 wickets
Match report by Mike Peter, BBC Sport Journalist.Kieron Pollard hit five consecutive sixes to lead Southern Brave to a thrilling two-wicket victory over Trent Rockets in the men's Hundred competition at the Utilita Bowl. Chasing 127, Brave were struggling on 78-6 before the West Indian all-rounder smashed all five balls of Rashid Khan's final set clear of the boundary to drag his side back into the tie. Having hit a further two fours, both Pollard and Jofra Archer were run out in a nervy final 10 balls, before Chris Jordan's four through backward square sealed the win with one ball to spare. Rockets won the toss and chose to bat, reaching 46 without loss before losing openers Tom Banton and Adam Lyth without adding any more to their total. The visiting side scored steadily but lost wickets periodically, with five of their top six falling for scores in the teens. Chris Jordan then dismissed Rashid Khan and Luke Wood in the space of three balls as Rockets finished on 126-8. Brave started positively, reaching 43-0 before Alex Davies was caught by Banton off the bowling of Sam Cook from the 30th ball of the innings. The home side would then lose a further five wickets, three of them to seamer John Turner, in the next 50 balls and score just 30 runs. But Pollard, who had started with a scratchy six from 14, ended that spell dramatically with brutal hitting against Rashid. In the space of five balls he put his side back in the contest, and nine balls later Jordan struck the winning runs to put Brave level at the top of the table. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e5/Southern_Brave_logo.svg/200px-Southern_Brave_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/6d/Trent_Rockets_svg_logo.svg/200px-Trent_Rockets_svg_logo.svg.png

Saturday 10th August 2024 - The Hundred Women - Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - Welsh Fire Women won the toss and decided to field
Birmingham Phoenix Women - 121-7 (100 balls) Kalis 55, Devine 24, Arlott 17, Matthews 3-32
Welsh Fire Women - 112-8 (100 balls) Matthews 35, Jonassen 28, Dunkley 18, Perry 2-9
Birmingham Phoenix Women win by 9 runs
Match report by Ffion Wynne, BBC Sport Journalist.Welsh Fire missed a chance to seal their place in the play-offs of The Hundred women's competition, as Birmingham Phoenix edged a tense contest at Sophia Gardens. Fire were favourites, needing 16 from the last 10 balls with Hayley Matthews at the crease, but Katie Levick's two wickets in two balls swung the game in Phoenix's favour and secured a nine-run win. Georgia Elwiss fell for 10 and Matthews was caught for 35 before Emily Arlott took two more wickets in a disastrous collapse as the hosts lost four wickets for four runs. Earlier, Phoenix's 121-7 was set up by Sterre Kalis' 55 while Matthews' 3-32 and Freya Davies' 2-17 led a disciplined Fire bowling performance. Fire's chase ebbed and flowed, with Sophia Dunkley and Matthews leading the recovery from Tammy Beaumont's early departure for 12 before all-rounder Ellyse Perry took two wickets in two balls - Dunkley for 18 and Sarah Bryce first ball - to stall the home side's progress. Matthews and Jess Jonassen, with 28, then looked to be sealing Fire's qualification before Phoenix's bowlers fought back, supported by impressive discipline in the field. A win at Cardiff would have guaranteed Fire a top-three finish but struggling Phoenix kept their slim qualification hopes alive. They need to win their remaining two games comfortably to improve their net run-rate and hope other results go their way. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7c/Welsh_Fire_logo.svg/200px-Welsh_Fire_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d1/Birmingham_Phoenix_logo.svg/200px-Birmingham_Phoenix_logo.svg.png

Sunday 11th August 2024 - The Hundred Women - The Kia Oval, Kennington - Oval Invincibles Women won the toss and decided to field
London Spirit Women - 120-8 (100 balls) Sharma 46 not out, Gray 28, Griffith 17, Smale 2-25
Oval Invincibles Women - 121-2 (91 balls) Winfield-Hill 61, Kapp 30 not out, Gibson 1-19
Oval Invincibles Women win by 8 wickets
Match report by Sam Drury, BBC Sport journalist.Lauren Winfield-Hill scored her first half-century in The Hundred this year to lead Oval Invincibles to an eight-wicket win over London Spirit. Set 121 to win, Invincibles got over the line with nine balls to spare thanks to an unbeaten 61 in 40 balls from captain Winfield-Hill. The Invincibles opener hit the winning runs with her 10th boundary, taking her partnership with Marizanne Kapp, who made 30 from 18 balls, to 51 in the process. Victory takes Invincibles level on points with leaders Welsh Fire and keeps them in with a chance of qualifying directly for next Sunday's final at Lord's. But for Deepti Sharma's 46 not out, to rescue Spirit from 47-7 to post 120-8, the margin of victory would likely have been big enough to send Invicibles top on net run-rate. As it is, Winfield-Hill's side go into their final group match - against Trent Rockets on Wednesday - knowing a win guarantees them a place in the top three. They must wait on Fire's result at Southern Brave earlier that day to know what will be required to take top spot, though. Meanwhile, Spirit are two points back in fourth and need to win at Northern Superchargers on Tuesday to book a top-three place. Invincibles' win also means Manchester Originals have now been eliminated from contention. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/96/Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg/200px-Oval_Invincibles_logo.svg.png V upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/65/London_Spirit_logo.svg/200px-London_Spirit_logo.svg.png
