After seeing some activity and a short video clip on the official BRFC Facebook page, heard that artist Nick Harvey was doing a collaborative piece at Temple Meads with the club, the EFL and Mind the mental health/wellbeing charity. As I work in Bath and commute from Temple Meads each day, I thought I would have a look on the way back from the office today.
Very happy to say that venturing to the bottom of Temple Meads' approach, the wall on your left has been put to good use with a simple and tasteful mural homage to Browner's magic right foot goal (aka THAT goal) against Dagenham & Redbridge. It's an eye-catching piece of Browner mid-celebration over a turquoise blue watercolour backdrop, one of the last things you would see if driving South of the river and therefore I think very well placed.
The 'Goals Worth Talking About' plaque commemorating the art reads 'While talking about our favourite goal can be easy, more than half of people are not comfortable talking about how they feel. This World Mental Health Day, ask someone how they feel - it could make all the difference.'
I am by no means an art fanatic but anything in the community concerning the Gas and an important charity to better people's lives is worth a little of my time and I would urge anyone interested to have a look yourselves if you're passing the station. I still haven't worked out how to post photos on here (sorry!) so I suggest you get your photos in before the (sadly likely) graffiti additions are made. UTG

Working (very!) locally to this, it was great to see on the walk into the office this morning. Even the s**t version is tasteful and for now they both remain untouched and hopefully they stay that way.
I’ll try and get a snap in the morning if it’s not pissing down.

I accidentally coughed and sneezed on the red mural on Wednesday, both in and out of work. Coincidental timing of course.

Just a shame that the ted's goal wasn't the Dean Windass one at Wembley.

Would be good if both murals remained untouched. A little thawing of the tensions between the Clubs wouldn't be a bad thing. IMHO.
