On the Gaschat fans scratching their heads about lower attendances and why that should be..well I am one of those staying away as are a few other friends. Delighted as we are with the way the season is going, and we went to Wimbledon, the fact is until the club cleans up an improves 'the 'facilities' then it's not a very enticing prospect going to the Mem-don't expect a premier league style operation- but jeez!

We're scoring more than we concede. We're winning more than we lose. Yet we're thousands down on recent years. Is there more something wrong with the day out? Or is it more real hopelessness for the future? Managers may be judged on results. Boards may be judged on attendances. Bring back five figure attendances, Mr Al Qadi.

Rotherham started well keeping the ball very well.
Victor & Tom were poor replacements for hardworking TS & JCH. Thought Davies was solid Kilgour had poor first half and should have scored in the second to secure victory and take pressure off in the final 15 mins.
Sercombe very good we did not miss Ollie Clarke one bit. Our Fin in Goal made some super saves.
Ogogo the new Sincs ?
Rodman adapted well to his wing back role and almost goal of the season by Leahy. Just inches past the post.
Superb goal set up by Sercs and individual pure strength by JCH must be worth ยฃ2m now. Can we keep him come January ?
Another clean sheet and we maintain our unbeaten run.

A word for Tony Craig... The bloke glides through games organising Alfie and Tom and mopping up when required... A born leader and like so many of our players is best suited to the 3-5-2 formation... Just the sort of player/character we need... Cheers Millwall Tone!!

Cracking result!, chuffed to bits with that!, made my day!.....never forgiven Rotherham after a five hour drive through roadworks after roadworks and for a 70.00 quid parking ticket close to the their Stadium back in the 90's!!!.....Goodnight Irene!...

First game of the season for me due to various other commitments, like watching paint dry, but that was alright.
JCH generally quiet but lethally clinical. Ogogo MOTM by a mile for me.
On the basis of today should be well clear of trouble, playoffs a huge ask.
If we lose JCH in January we have a problem.
Overall though, surprisingly enjoyable. Might come back soon.

Just got back!
Early.
What a lovely day at the Mem. Fair play, the clubhouse drinks, service and food (I didn't participate in) was spot on.
Gorringe, you're cr@p! (for Bambi)...
Entertainment on pitch wasn't like Accrington or Oxford, but drawn in from a different perspective.
We played a team as robust and equal to us. Open football, not dirty or dismissive, almost played with mutual respect. Nice to see.
And refereed well. I left feeling there is hope out there!
Onto the match..... it's no coincidence we play (perhaps boring for some) with confidence in the spine of the team. Especially in defence.....I thought again out back there were great, all covering for each other and a perfect blend.
We had balance in mid.
Dare I say, we look fabulous and inspiring without my fav, Ollie? I'm disappointed saying that but tis truth today, maybe not all days.
Up front we have a genuine bone fide goalscorer....no, not Nichols....๐....but an actual replacement for Lambo. He is the epitome of what we needed at the time and is defacto championship material.... JCH, we wouldn't be where or who we are without you. So important.
But today, my m o m was Sercombe.....the fella was unplayable. First half done two awe inspiring half turns and crosses across box....no one there keeping up with him?(!) Second half, brill through ball for the goal, but JCH had alot to do to make it his.
Craig.... amazing..... what a performance, helping out breaking up play, sorting out others mistakes and almost sneaking a goal in....I think he was pick of a very good defence. Davies and Alfie (whom must be scratching for a goal soon?) were great today cutting out any threat.
I like our Keeps. One save for the cameras and a few pluck out the air confident come for crosses....decent.
Fair play rodman for playing in a role unfamiliar with him. A wing back. ish. I guess temporary, but he had his chances too, I thought a steady place for him and perhaps future understudy in that position...?
A grinding out result today. Rotherham matched us for physicality and pace, they just didn't ask the questions we did. Perhaps because we set ourselves up in organised way. Perhaps because we are growing with confidence, thus putting teams on back foot. Perhaps because we are actually a competitive, open, good team built on strength and physical awareness?
Perhaps that, and something more?
Perhaps if we keep up that performance and result, perhaps manager of the month?
GC, fair play, you have had it right this month with injuries to captain, sercombe, Josh, little, and losing keeps because of international commitment. You don't have thd either, and yet we have turned out a winning formula and promotion form.
Proud to be a GasHead, clap your hands....
Ps ....where are you, you Coventry f#ckwits that took it upon yourselves to vent frustration?

We probably deserved to edge it just about. Hearded towards a cash only former Burger-van get a ยฃ4.50 pint from plastic glass to drink behind a tent while stood out by the bins. Heaven.

A few humble pies from Just Eat for some on here. We're 14 pts above the relegation zone, consistency is key. Well Done GC and the lads

Castro can keep the other half.. ๐ Those were the ones locked out when the game kicked off because Gorringe is rubbish I'm not saying everything is perfect, but it's got to be said: Princes Trust auction at end of season is rubbish is it, Bambi? I was sat in clubhouse bar yesterday early doors....it went dark outside because of monsoon (probably Gorringe fault)....but the clubhouse bar has been opened up because of Gorringe negotiation and Thatcher's (not Margaret) involvement. All at cost of a sponsorship. The clubhouse was brighter inside these days, and I think the whole club is as a result of Mr Gorringe encumbrance..

Enjoyable game and we were worth the 3 points. Midfield 3 all good. Rodman looked comfortable in the RWB role. JCH lethal in front of goal again

With the energy levels of this team it can only get better. I feel a surge coming on. Is there a parachute payment for Championship relegation?
