Correct to give it balance. Imagine the ovation he will receive if we play Walsall at home in the future. But was Arsene Wenger beyond criticism? After what he did for Arsenal, there were so many who will still now choose to 'snipe' about the last 8 years of his tenure even though they won the FA Cup 3 times. History will show he was a great manager for them but is not beyond criticism especially when the next manager comes in. Not pathetic just observations. Agree to give it balance, try it.. Not even those of us (there aren't many) who still wish Darrell was manager would say he's beyond criticism. It's just on occasion, some on here seem to find any excuse to have a pop at him. Any excuse apart from the one thing he was guilty of, resting players for cup games.. Not having a pop or poo I still wish he was manager, successfully He was brilliant. Balance it

In terms of tactics and guts, it was a very positive performance. The goalkeeper and back 3, plus Hare were excellent. Stand-out was Davies, who was strong, quick and composed. Ed Upson was excellent and Ogogo had a strong second-half. The difference between the sides when moving the ball between the lines was significant. The right wing-back (U23) was a Rolls-royce of a player. It was much more than gutsy on our part. It was disciplined and intelligent on our part, given the level of opposition. We lacked a couple of playmakers or players who could provide runs from midfield. This reduced our attacking threat. But well done Rovers. You thoroughly deserved your ovation at the end. Partly agree but to my eyes hare and davies struggled as they destroyed us down their left flank. Davies certainly worked hard and was my MOM and imo didnât struggle, I know itâs all about opinions but to say he was âdestroyedâ is a bit ott. Yes the FBs were under pressure but TD was strong and played very well. UTG!

Davies and hare battled manfully but had a difficult evening imo. Must admit im not one to celebrate losing as some seem to have regarding tuesday nights game.

No one on here is celebrating, but we don't always have to slag the team off when we lose. The performance was encouraging and gutsy against clearly superior opposition and this is in addition to the previous 3 home games. I for one am now hopeful we can literally just avoid another bloody season like the last and move on to establish ourselves in L1, challenge for the play offs and not look over our shoulders. I don't think I ask for much, but Tuesday was good. No point trying to look for negatives when they nearly got a draw and played well.

I donât think I did misquote you although I can see why you think I did. Certainly not intentional and apologies if you got the wrong impression. They got behind us on both sides several times but were hardly destroyed when they relied upon a last minute goal to win and I didnât think Tom D struggled he dealt with most of the stuff that came his way. Of course he was busy and had to work hard, itâs a given against a PL side. I guess with the Iranian No 16 who cost ÂŁ19m and Webster costing ÂŁ20m and others itâs not a great surprise that we had to fight for everything. In the circumstances I thought we played well and caused them a few problems and our centre halves played very well. UTG!

Gross, the Iranian, Mooy, Murray and Webster will all feature this season.
