Assuming you don't need to know about Tom putting in a dreadful performance or not getting the midfield shape correct so that Ogogo was exposed for pace at least 6 times during the game. Group of maybe 10 young blokes singing a childish song on their way out, no swearing and nothing threatening, then Mr Arsey who probably thought he was a bit tasty in 1979 decides to wade in to 'sort them out'. By the Trubshaw Close entrance. You've seen him and his mates, no necks, big bellies, melon smugglers in Bomber jackets. They embarrass themselves and our club. You would think that after 50 years of it they would have cottoned on, sometimes you lose games of football. Doubt that any Hatters will find this forum, but just in case, I'm sorry and embarrassed on behalf of the club. Enjoy your promotion and good luck in the 2nd division. Hopefully 1982 will still be there and you can take 6 points off of them. Ah, ok. I heard a sunglasses fella outside East terrace shouting to some Gas at end of march, I'm assuming he got the service he was looking for. I'm not condoning it, but you do take your chances singing at an away match outside the ground, that's just the way it has been for years. It's just not very street wise as some think that is taking liberties on their patch bla bla bla....well as you say, embarrassing. Why? Mildly irritating, not sure why anybody wants to sing in public, or whistle or hum for that matter, but to assault people for doing it? To say that you think you 'take your chances' for exercising your civil liberties, can't accept that at all. They were excited youngsters, that's all. This stuff happens in BS3 I thought

This stuff happens in BS3 I thought I don't know why. It's just been the way for a long time in certain parts of Bristol, wrong time and wrong place. That's why I put bla bla bla because who knows what reason? Folk have been assaulted for less. "You lookin at me?" was a classic line.. Civil liberties my @rse, you need to live in a democracy for that to start with..

Always said the manager 's insistence on playing Nichols would probably get us rel egated , under the old gaffer, and now it seems under the new one. He's more worried about his hair. He hasn't got a clue whether to shoot or to pass. A scapegoat : too fing right !Good afternoon, Kegan. It's good to see you. A scapegoat is an innocent, or a simple beast. A scapegoat is blamed for the sins of others, crimes in which he was never involved himself. To call TN a scapegoat is to suggest that he is taking the blame for other people's offences. Is this what you're saying, Kegan? Is it? Give Kegs some credit. I suspect that he's been reading Leviticus and understands exactly what a Scapegoat is and wants Nichols exiled to a sandy wilderness to atone, as you say, for the sins of others. BTW, did you see the correct use of a possessive apostrophe in Keg's post? The boy's coming on a treat.

Edit. I have a clue about why. Try having a sobriety test to attend football matches and watch this type of problem fall through the floor. And before anybody starts on about Rugby not having a problem; yes it does.

Not sure I agree with all your post, but can see your thrust of what you say. As long as there's an emotional tie with any sort of club that's largely associated with territory, some sort of conflict is bound to occur. That's just the way I see it. The same way as I see nearly 10,000 turn up at Mem and if 100 are involved in disorder, that's 1%. Kinda puts it in perspective, dunnit?! Not condoning anything, just have grown up on Gloucester Rd, and for a long time and have seen alot worse for less..

So you think, Bamber, they care about the football? How cute.

Which ever dictionary definition you choose to select. Nichols is still a total waste of space and always has been. A brown tongue doesn't deserve chance after chance. We all know someone where we work who is s**t at their job but the boss seems to love. No names please it could take a while ! It does happen in the workplace but should never happen in professional football.

I think kegandegg has got a point, tom nichols never scores and it is one of the main reasons dc got sacked and we might be relegated. Its not just tom,he is a poor player in a team of poor players.
Anyone else get sick to death of imbecilic posts putting across a certain political viewpoint? Take your politics elsewhere and dont bore us all to death with it.

Anyone else see the bloke at the end of the game, behind the dug-outs on East Terrace, ranting and raving, being held back by a couple of stewards, just because there was a Luton fan there?
It was good to see a number of Rovers fans looking out for the Luton fan, making sure nothing came of it, but what a sad, sad, man.

[politics] used to be a respected 'thing'. But that was ages ago. On gasheads.org? Or in Britain?
