Oxford lose. Gillingham lose. Rochdale being held at home by Wimbledon. A good point against a club that it's quite easy to dislike. Well done Rovers. Edit. The evening just got better. Last minute winner for Wimbledon

Last minute winner for Wimbledon Aye, massive gutter about the missed pen but all things considered it’s a decent nights work. The front two were quality (especially Clarke Harris) and Craig at the back was immense! Have to be confident for the coming weeks, bring on Sunderland & the shock of playing on our patch!

Not confident of anything at the mem. It’s no twerton, fo sho blud. It’s our away form where we have been better. It seems our team doesn’t do well in front of a bigger crowd.

My gawd. Excellent performance we were the better side pity about penalty miss never been an advocate about the same player taking 2 penalties in a game but fair play to him he had a good game as did most of the side not going home toniget staying at premier Inn and having a few celebratory lagers.

What’s survival? 52 points? How many more points do we need to survive and where do we predict we will get them? Is tonight in the anything we get a bonus category? In another thread, epping reckoned 50 points would be the target, based on the points needed to avoid relegation from the 3rd tier in the last 10 years. Someone posted on facebook yesterday that 56 would be the target, but that's way too pessimistic, on past evidence. Only once in the last 14 years has a team gone down from the third tier on more than 50 points: Torquay (51), in 2005. Before that, it was - ahem- Bristol Rovers, in 2001. We went down on 51 points. Wouldn't you just know it - a joint-record high this century on which to be relegated!

3 straight home games coming up - could be a season defining stretch.

Three home games on the trot won't help the way we've been playing there. We have the jitters at home and lack the composure we show away. Hopefully we can turn this around now we have a bit of presence up front. Saturday is a massive game and a win would be a great boost.

Four changes and some interesting combinations in midfield. Hope Clarke Harris scores tonight. Been a while 1975 since we cheered a victory at Fratton. 1978 actually

Good game and I came away actually a bit disappointed we didn't win. I do not think I have ever seen a penalty go so far over the bar in my life (and that includes ones by Johnny Wilkinson)

Ah well, I'd have taken a point before. It's a shame about the penalty but that's life, luckily all the other results went our way so it really was a point gained. Onwards to the weekend and hopefully a big performance.

Watched online. That was anxious at the end. I think Clarke Harris and Jab looks like our best partnership. Forgetting the awful pen, he played really well and I view his game as helping us earn a point than costing us all 3. We look a bit more streetwise and nasty. That’s good because I think it’s something we’ve been lacking. Got to say as well, we are snapping the ball about a bit faster than under Clarke. Would have loved the 3 points but I’m very encouraged on that showing. We certainly look like we have more goals in us now. Ogogo and upson both were great as was THD. Yes. I went and it was the first match I’ve seen under GC and you’re correct we were very competitive. Lacked a bit of quality at times but everyone put a shift in and we were very resilient. No one will like playing against JCH. Mind you Pompey were poor but then we didn’t let them play, we were in their faces all match. UTG!

It was a good point to get. We’ve appeared to have been playing well recently but we’re still deep in the relegation battle. Gills lost tonight but because they won last time out they’ve taken a big step up. My worry is that despite playing well we could be 23rd on Saturday night. Somehow we need to turn good performances into wins and whilst I’m happy with a point last night and a good performance we’re still in trouble. Posh and Shrewsbury were chances missed as was last night. We need a win. UTG!
