Rovers get £50k for winning this one. Another £100k if they reach the final. Total gate receipts from all of the games played so far wouldn't buy a sausage roll though

Please don't let us go back down to that level again. Vale were poor with 11 men let alone 10.

This thread is as dead as the zombie brains attending.. O2, mate. I loathe this competition format. I want BRFC to win the prize for the lowest attendance (best boycott). I agree with where you're coming from. B-teams need to be resisted, or clubs like ours will die. You. Are. Correct. But there's no need to insult Gasheads taking the bargain tickets. I think they're misguided in so doing. But we can argue this case with style I think.

£7 for a 3-0 win including a Nichols goal.
Worth it.

They’ve gone and won well, but with a different team, more expansive. One with more technical control. In a competition where maybe the pressures off?

Good win against a poor team. One interesting change was playing tariq holmes in his natural left back position,i reckon he will stay there as long as his knee holds up.

Real shame people seem to have principles until success comes along. Ah well.

Real shame people seem to have principles until success comes along. Ah well. It's very disappointing. I'd love us to kill the format and get the 3rd and 4th division trophy back for real clubs. Maybe a new campaign. Win people over to the boycott.

We were passive with Higgs and Co, we are passive with WAQ and Co, we are passive with the stadium, we are passive with this. We get the club we deserve, we get the s**te B team laden tournament we deserve. Any success post-Twerton has been inspite of pretty much everything to do with the club. We never ask questions about anything, just lie there and wait for it to wash over us. It’s a shame really but nothing new.

The forums and social media seem to almost be an echo chamber of people asking questions and sometimes bashing the club at every opportunity, you get involved in almost any conversation on a match day at the mem and you get the same. I'd argue as supporters we are anything but passive, I think in an interview a while ago Hamer said the fan base was far more interested in the off the field issues than he or the owners could have anticipated. As for this competition, hasn't the "boycott" worked pretty well up to this date?
