After a tumultuous off-field week, we get back to the on-field action.
Have to say I have a strong feeling of foreboding over this game. The dismal failure against Donny last week and the major disruption of DC leaving must take its toll on player morale, a toll which no amount of "new manager bounce" can fix.
Apologies for the far from uplifting start to your day but while we have had darker days, my optimism for the future of our club feels as low as it's ever been.
Anyway... 3-1 to Sunderland would feel like a win to me!
PS: Safe travels and respect to all you travelling Gasheads, that's one hell of a journey.
It will be interesting to see who Coughlan selects.
If he wants a rallying call in the team talk: Let's do this for Darrell.
Like that would work.
They would all run onto the pitch, we would have the left back go to the right wing, right winger would go in goal and the best player from last week would decide that he shouldn't even be in the squad today.
Holmes- Dennis, Upson, Rodman, Upson and Jakubiak all start new manager a ticknerman ...Amazed James Clarke starts.
Harry you clearly do not like JC but with respect, I like the Guys effort and reliability. By the way, think you mean Tinkerman.
yes a typo I do personally feel several of our squad are not League one standard including Clarke and Leadbitter while others like Payne, Rodman and Upson have to prove they are capable. While Locks tries his best he has failed to develop and his distribution is still shocking. Cannot understand how Lines does not start ?
