You are playing with words Your comment was they were not bad just Doncaster were better how do you interpret that You're inferring far too much. I'm not playing at all. But it's plainly obvious you can't point out where I say today was acceptable, so I think it's actually you playing with words. Unless of course, you can show otherwise? He's right in a way. Donny's tactics were to let us come at them because they knew we pose no threat up front. This made it look like we were commanding midfield and playing on the front foot, i.e., playing well, when in actual fact they were toying with us. Donny got the ball forward quickly and clinically along the ground as soon as we lost it and threatened nearly every time they attacked. This style of play suited Payne, who spent a lot of time in the box for once, but there were hardly any crumbs for him to feed off. Nichols tries, I'll give him that, but his style of play creates no clearcut chances and kills momentum. It's all jab and stab and bobbling ball. When one or two did bobble our way in the box there was nobody there to take advantage because they didn't see it coming. It's obvious what needs to be sorted in the window, but as Keith Brookman said, where do you find a decent striker in January when everybody else is looking too? Reilly and Mensah had potential when they came to us but they are modern players who run the channels through the middle. Clarke's style of play makes them look like he does right now, a droopy dog staring forlornly into space, arms dangling at his side.

All I can see is Gasheads looking for a party to blame be it the owners or the manager. My only conclusion is that they are all responsible for the state of the club as are the previous owners who bailed out to get their cash back.
This isn’t going to end well.

Something changed didn't it. A week ago Darrel sounded very much as if he was saying that he had his budget cut. Yesterday he explains, in detail, that his budget is higher. Someone got their wings clipped by the sounds of things and was told to stand up straight and take responsibility for their own mistakes.

The biggest budget he's ever had. It stops other stuff stacking up quite the way it might seem to.

The thing that I'm struggling with is that it's not the tone of what he was suggesting prior to yesterday. I believe that our manager is an honest man. Whatever way you look at it, it's not a happy camp. We live in a world of smoke, mirrors and spin sadly, it wouldn't surprise me one tiny bit if this increase in budget included trainers, dieticians, scouts, analysts and a load of other dead weight who are all now lumped into the same employment category as players.

Did anyone else see around 60-100 fans converge by the mem gates, around 15 minutes prior to the end ? We didn’t know if they were maybe Donny fans waiting to have a pop or maybe our lot looking to make a protest and no one has said anything so just wondering who they were

They had yellow vests.

I left at 6 Don't be silly, he didn't go to Paris, he doesn't do fighting himself, he just does the threats and then says that he'll get someone else to do the physical stuff. BTW, for the record, I don't actually know Mike, but I think he's a better person than the forum persona he's created.

I hate violence saw lots in the 1970s at Rovers matches particularly Plymouth, Bournemouth and at Eastville when Chelsea and Spurs played us.
I am indeed a fine, upstanding individual who treats everyone with respect and am good with animals. I give to charity and am a well rounded highly respected author and freelance writer who does not suffer fools gladly. But I still voted BREXIT and would do so again if we have to do yet another vote. Merry Christmas Bambi and a happy and healthy 2019.

I fear that if the owners don’t get their money back by selling the club to new owners then we will lose the stadium and the ground that it’s built on.

I think a big problem is the team is tinkered with too much. We're playing against teams that are playing and forming partnerships week in week out. We've got a cracking forward in Jakubiak in on loan but isn't getting used.
We must have a terrible reputation with other clubs for not playing their loanees.

Who was it that we had last season, striker, usually scored or set up a goal as soon as he was allowed on the pitch but spent most of his time here collecting splinters? We set out to win every game mind.... Wonder what Devon made of our attack force yesterday. He could have pulled on a shirt and done better himself I reckon. At least the opposition defenders would have walked off with a few bruises to show for their efforts.

By banging them in, I mean by Gas standards.
