He couldn't have seen from where he was, his defenders don't look exactly 'up for it', after the goal they didn't do what the opposition always do, go and tell the lino what they think, then raise their game, they just shrugged their shoulders and carried on playing at a ponderous pace. Teams playing us are probably a bit confused at just how easy it is. If Ian Alexander was out there last night would have ended up fighting this limp wristed bunch of bottlers during the match. Can you imagine Vaughan jones or ollie as well "Jocky's gonna get you, Jocky's gonna get you". We've been missing a hard b*rst*rd for a few years now. Twerton days and happy memories. If it was still 0-0 after an hour we'd just start a fight, rough them up a bit, and proceed to boss the game. Teams were genuinely scared to come to Bath. That terrace the length of the pitch (a sort of mini Old Den) used to generate venom. I remember Liverpool running out and looking around in shock at the surroundings. Should have bloody won that game as well. Stonewall penalty not given. In those days it was illegal to award a penalty against Liverpool. Apologies, I digress. I was a bit down. I wanted to cheer myself up. "Jocky's gonna get you, Jocky's gonna get you".

Well, referees seem to regard part of their job as being to create 'talking points', I disagree, my view is that they should apply the rules fairly and consistently over the entire game. Have said it endless times though, we are in the 3rd division, so we'll get 3rd rate officials. Lino last night had big blobs of fat hanging down over the sides of his shorts, he's supposed to be a professional sportsman for goodness sake. You have to conclude that these are the best people they can find to do the job. Apparently they have to take a fitness test pre season to see if they are physically fit well that always was the case whether it is now I am unsure but he did appear to be struggling at times.but then again if you recall Roger fitzPatrick from the 80s he was rather rotund and didn't look fit but he could run backwards faster than a lot of players could forwards so what I am saying is appearances can be deceptive. A lot of our problems are that most teams and managers in this division are a lot more streetwise than rovers counterparts Again, have been saying this for the longest time, I don't like it, but we put ourselves at a serious disadvantage when we don't go down screaming and don't get in the faces of officials.

Stuart Campbell was always good and winning a free kick when he/the team was under pressure and slowing the game down. The one we did have was Lee Mansell who would be a bit 'edgy' at times and boy do we miss him and his leadership on the pitch

Mike doesn't count non-league games as real football. Unless we change something, he's going to have some more games to not count. That shower that we witnessed last night would get muscled off the park by most L2 teams, but Sercombe, quite rightly, won't hang around to play Newport, Crawley and Forest Green, he's too good to lower himself to that. We are in deep, deep trouble. Blue Oyster Bloke. You are right, nobody gets relegated after 20 games, but this has been going on for 3/4 of a season now, we were no better for the last 1/3 of last season when we still had Ellis and Lee Brown. Difference was Ellis was our best defender from set pieces and a bloody nuisance to opposition defenders

Don't be sad, we can always make up a song along the lines of 'Craig's gonna give you the phone number of a highly rated coiffeur'

Not offside when the ball was played I was in line with it, clearly off, the camera angle is deceptive. Don't look at eaves look at partington he was playing him onside

Please Alistair do not fret or panic we are going now where we shall remain in League One old Third Division Mark my words the hero that is DC has it all under control. The Conference is a bad memory a dream which never happened.

I want some of what you are on mike I am always optimistic and half full type. DC works hard to improve the Club and I know it would break his heart if we went down. Being a Yeovil Town fan at this time is far more worrying.
Personally I feel the young striker Harry Warrick should be drafted into the side he is a natural goalscorer.
