I would be up for this if it was at the Bulldog or maybe the Sportsmans, but the Wellie ? ffs that's the sort of place where a Spelling Bee should take place....ah I think I see. Wouldn't it be better to arrange for the players to meet up instead they seem to be like strangers

You’re far too working class for this lot mate pity we can’t go back in time have a meet up in the bk club stagger around to vaults pop into Ajax’s bar end up in the millionaires and get a lift home on the back of a milk float you’re are right though the welly is a s**thole

I'd leave it to Vaughan to decide, as he was the one to suggest it. Welly - expensive, badly run and a long wait to get served. Rovers bars - ditto. Sportsman, Foresters or Drapers would be my vote.

The travel time is a bit of a bugbear for me, now if there is one in late April early May-19 I might be up for it!

As for the Wellie,I never liked the place and you're right I wouldn't fit in there,I suppose I could wear a pair of Stringback driving gloves a Tweed cap and a cravat but I would rather avoid the place.

Drapers to small and pokey. Foresters smells of p1ss. Sportsman would be ok but if there's a vote mine is for the Bulldog.

Drapers should be plenty large enough.

Thanks for the continued interest.
To use a Steve Hamer type metaphor, I have decided to BOOT the WELLY venue suggestion into touch.
We will meet in the Bristol Room of the Supporters Club Bar. That's the one on the left as you walk in.
Nick Gorringe kindly offered me use of the new Family Stand, but unfortunately that will not be big enough for this event.
I will advertise the event via some other channels.
The next discussion is before or after the Doncaster match on 8th December.

Sorry. I will be there.

The 'open to all bar' is now to the right as you walk in. 15 minutes to get a beer and £4 a pint but hey ho, someone has to pay for the bar upgrade. I'll be there, Curegalore94 should be along as well.

Surely it would make more sense to meet up in one of the club bars that actually give money to the club.
