Some super vintage images around the concourse and got a contact at St James to discuss our new Rovers History Group as they already have an established group. Surely no need for another then?

We lost? Who cares. Let’s just appreciate the fact there wasn’t a single goal scored away from home, from any team, in any fixture, in our group that consisted of 6 matches. 0-0, 2-0, 2-0, 2-0, 4-0, 2-0 Decent that. I do not know what to make of adding these U21s teams (beyond our fear of B teams possibly joining the league), they topped only 2 leagues, qualified in 7 (incl the 2) and came bottom in 6 including ours with West Ham losing all 3 games not scoring and conceding 8 goals. Are top clubs' U21s really poor and so may need the extra competition beyond that wide range they already have? I believe not, many premier sides have U21s dotted all round Europe (incl GB (at the moment)) on loan and Checkatrade U21s are allowed some players over 21. Some players choose to leave England to get first team time, such as Jadon Sancho at Dortmund. Do the teams put out deliberately weakened sides, as clubs protect players or do not take the competition seriously? The tables almost play into the hands of the clowns at the EFL as these youngsters seem to be rather weak overall, yet England has recently won good competitions such as the U17 or U20 World Cups. The EFL, mind you have their hands full with the Championship threatening to breakaway (again). Personally I do not support the Trophy, but do support my club and am interested with how the youngsters or returning injured players play.

I presume the simplest answer to that is all the actual decent youngsters are already out on loan to clubs. Therefore who is left to play in the competition? You might get one or two decent players still but is the competition better than league clubs pitting a mixture of first team and youth team players against each other?

Really don't see the point in ;Jabakuk,Reilly or Payne at our club. They simply never score and need to go. Very poor signings Well add Nichols to that. I goal in 12 months and 3 weeks. No other club would put up with that

Would you be interested in an interview about your experiences supporting Rovers for our history group project.
I assure you there would be no water boarding and any drugs involved ?
