Come on Nichols, they will be out on their feet after their game on Wed, 3-0 down at home, if you can't grab a goal for yourself now....

DC will surely win the manager of the month award now. Win 2-0 at Barnet on Sunday then a 3-0 win at Exeter on 13 Nov and beat Scunny 1-0 at the Mem!

We’ve won. Maybe good time to play them after midweek efforts. But what a great feeling. Still no goals from forwards. Ollie must be leading scorer?

Good day.
We win, according to BBC 2 assists for Nichols, that'll help his confidence, and that lot from the DSS Arena got turned over by a team that will spend the season struggling at the wrong end of the table.
Oh, and England egg chasers beat S-Africa. That'll do.

The table as it stands shows how vital 3 pts were today Shrewsbury and Gillingham winning and we stay 20th Does table watching and rival result watching really matter in November? Flat bottom or fifteenth, How many points will keep us up, how many are available, we close in on that target. And also watch the other part of the equation is form, do we genuinely look solid, or clueless most weeks with odd good day thrown in? I reckon we have been looking pretty solid and competitive 9 games out of ten. Problem is, forwards aren’t scoring, but worse not even missing all that much. Even with today’s win, there’s still something not right in setting up forwards and forwards taking some of those chances.

I know I am cold and have drunk more coffee than I should I didn't see any assists from nicholls Clarkes goals came from Sercombe and Kelly and he certainly didn't assist Craig. Mind you he did fall over in the box when Sercombe I think passed to him.does that count as an assist.Bonham had another quality match and it is touch and go whether he or ollie got momreminiscent of final game in 1989.90 same score. I know after this result it may sound churlish but when are our strikers going to put their chances away.payne had a couple not sure if nicholls got anywhere near a chance although he did throw himself at a Leadbiter cross but missed it. Had enough coffee now off for a bite to eat.

It's usually around 53 pts to finish 20th or above going by the last 5 seasons. We have an extra point called zero goal difference.

I have been out all afternoon, just logged on and checked the score. Surely someone is having some sort of internet joke with me?

Listening on the radio, the echoed shouts ringing round the stadium remind me of the 'atmosphere' watching the reserves at Eastville in the 70s. 2nd half though, a great noise from the travelling Rovers fans. There must have been more away fans in the ground than home fans, for the final 5 minutes.

Ideas anyone?
