While Gasheads love their recent visits to the Kassam as we have won five times on the trot its fair to say Oxford don’t mind visiting the Mem as in their last five visits they have won three times, drawn one and only lost one in the last six years.
Today and Tuesday evening both are six pointers and this week will surely determine DC's future ?

I agree with the six pointer but disagree with DC future comment. He's here for interim.
I like our games v Oxford, recently it always brings out two well matched teams and a bit of bite. Ollie Clarke sending off brings controversy. I'm sure there'll be loads of talking points later.
Foggy yet mild day. It's a good day to win.
1-0 Gas. Sercombe on song v previous club. Up the table we will go....
Enjoy, and UptheGas!

Agree. Our quality has been dire of late with no goals in our last four.Really do need something to-day as with nothing seeming to happen with the stadium or training ground there has been little to cheer recently.Going to watch Stoke isn't an option even though it's only 30 minutes away.Just hope we can score!!!!!!!!!!!! Need strong leadership both on and off the field.

I thought the first 6 pointer was against Plymouth... Still don't see where the goals are coming from. Spoke to an Oxford fan yesterday and he said they can't score either (though they are averaging 1 a game). 0-0 at 10-1 looks quite attractive. But here's one that made me laugh out loud. Nichols to score 7-4. I'm a poet and don't know it.

Nichols to play should be about 7-4. Anyone know his full league (starts and subs) appearances for his one solitary goal? Mind you - what a screamer it was. Goal of the season, possibly decade. Failing to even jog back on side from a Rovers attack and stood about 15 yards off-side... Mr Upson (MK) picked out the only blue and white shirt in the opposition half and the rest is history. A history that goes back 1 year next week.

Surely 4 4 2 with two strikers and at least 1 winger if Sinclair plays right. No Ollie so Upson will certainly start, though as a holding midfielder he hasnt got his protecting defence thing going yet. Bennett has the Kyle Lightbourne thing going, the biz one week, the invisible man the next, maybe he will impact today’s game.

Match Report. In a game of low quality Bristol Rovers managed to grind out a 0-0 draw. Although having a decent amount of possession Rovers failed to provide any threat in the final third. There was no real creativity in mid-field. The attacks lacked urgency and were slow. Sinclair and Sercombe once again proved they are not wide players. Bonham was MOTM. DC said: "that performance was not acceptable and the fans deserve better. We just dust ourselves down and go again on Tuesday".

No surprises
Sercs front of midfield diamond, but only contributions far a yellow card
Ref at full stretch. And then some
Post, Bonham and a goal line clearance have saved us so far
Our best chance so far header from free kick missed by you-know-who
Craig, locks, parts dodgy disrribution
No width or speed in attack. No height or speed in midfield. Lots of crab passing
Oxford the better side. Biggish teamwork two little twats up front. Mackie pure petulance, other one a fragile petal
Nice day and atmosphere, very little good about gas football

By the amount of comments on here, looks like the se one half is as boring as the first. The hallmarks of another late winner for the other team and five matches without scoring? Please Rovers prove me wrong on both counts.
