While the heart will always predict a Rovers win, my head says we'll be lucky to get anything today. That's based on our recent form, last weeks hugely disappointing result and our dire attacking record. Prove me wrong Rovers... but I'm predicting a 0-2 loss. COYB!

I am hoping for a 0-0 as we won’t score. 😉

I was at Thursday's event when I spoke at length to Tom Lockyer.
He has been cleared and is and back heading a ball.
Expect him to play with James Clarke at right or left back.
Excellent event on Thursday. Great hospitality and I learnt a lot from speaking to Tommy W and Tom L. Well done Mr Gorringe.

Tough match. I actually think it's one of our more important ones. To beat the team around you.
Never a particular happy hunting ground, I'll take a draw now. But I'm predicting:
Lockyer to start. Don't know why they clear him to head the ball when he and Craig don't get anywhere near it as they ain't tall enough!? Haha!
Upson to start in place of Lines.
Nichols to start and/or finish.
Jak won't feature.
For those reasons: 2-0 loss and comfortable defeat.
Hope I'm wrong and all forementioned score in 3-0 win..
Safe journey all, COME ON YOU BLUES!

I will pass on some details.
The methodical nature of our recruitment will surprise many, but it's down to DC who he wants.
Tom Lockyer believes like me that we defend too deep, but that is because we don't press the ball higher up the pitch.
He also thinks that Holmes-Dennis will be a great addition.
The sensitivity to criticism was a key theme. Leads is very much affected by crises of confidence.
Any questions - please ask.

Last week was disappointing result, but I don’t think we played badly. 3 games no goals, but only 1 conceded tells a story on its own, but being at the game could see we didn’t play badly and we’re not a bad side. Arguably could have won all three of those games with just 3 goals. We are defending better now too, visibly defending better as a team, and the GK making BIG difference too. If anything Defenders are still making errors that could cost bad goals, its as a team we are defending better. Really felt rough not having anything from what was an entertaining game, with goalmouth action, a 50/50 game. Thought it wasn’t a mugging, Walsall played their part looking for 3 points throughout. Fair play to them.

Leadbitter and Bennett were shocking on Tuesday no shock they failed to start. Must admit Rodman,Matthews and Kelly did relay well on Tuesday too but only one starts. But as we know its a New Project.

No Lines,Nichols or Leadbitter? Yea, great innit?! I don’t dislike it. Looks solid across back line. 4 4 1 1 ? Whose closest to Super jak, Sinclair ? Jack Bonham (GK), Joe Partington, Tom Lockyer (c), Tony Craig, James Clarke, Ollie Clarke, Stuart Sinclair, Ed Upson, Liam Sercombe, Alex Rodman, Alex Jakubiak. Subs: Adam Smith (GK), Tom Broadbent, Michael Kelly, Sam Matthews, Kyle Bennett, Gavin Reilly, Stefan Payne. plenty on bench is far cry from recent seasons

What’s weather like up there? Dried up but still too windy in Bristol for perfect conditions.
Isn’t the beer up that way, because of heavy water, supposed to taste real nice?

It looks very bright and sunny on telly
Rovers playing tiki taka back to Bonham. Trying to drag them out of shape? Not much room for error in our half tho

Ref likes his whistle, few odd calls against us.

0-0 at half time sounds yet another poor match.
