A stream of consciousness is a recognised literary style. Not my favourite, but that's just me. The laziness of people who can't be bothered to start a sentence with a capital letter... now that's a whole different issue. Says the poster with a lower case E in their username But surely there are no grammatical rules around the use of lower/upper case in a username? OK - Epping is a place and rightly deserves the capital "E". "eppinggas" - just because it contains the name Epping need not, I would argue, require upper case. Maybe I should change it to PseudEppinggas. But then again you obviously can't have an upper case character in the middle of the username. Crikey, it's a minefield. It really is.

It depends who your ITK-er of choice is. For instance, back around the Melksham pre-season friendly (mid July), the poster 'Knowall' said there would be good news in 6 months - so how many trolling days 'til Christmas? He/she has also alluded to The Colony becoming the site for a new stadium. And whatever happened to that one about a land swap? Something about a wealthy businessman (whose name would surprise us), had bought the UWE land and looking to do a swap deal with the Mem land. I will believe it when (or if ) it happens, I don't see many people wanting to buy the club with all the debt,I hope that I am wrong and someone does buy this lot out as they seem absolutely clueless. Are they ''clueless''? They reached into their back pockets and found the thick end of £3m to make MSP go away, I don't know exactly what other cash they have put in, but from memory Swiss said that their main trading company was reporting profits ITRO £11m PA. Wish I was so clueless that I was only making £11m a year Maybe UWE didn't work out to be the cash cow they thought they were buying, but I'll wager a pay cheque that on the day they walk away they won't have lost a single penny.

derek was down the bell off jamaica street a couple of months back
our pal paul wally wiltshire used to drink in the wheatsheaf with all that city lot,
To be fair to Paul I also used to drink in there and a sometimes the city lot were there too but I wouldn't say that I used to drink with them, ignore them more like. Tony R and I were young skinheads back then and we did talk to Itch a couple of times in the Assizes,he was older than us and talked about earlier skinhead times, seemed a good bloke (for a ****head).
scary when you look back and reflect how long ago that was mind, wally loved his clothes, i vividly recall a green checked suit he had around that time

May be a load of rubbish but clearly enough interest to get you to sign up to both forums in the last 12 hours! would you like my bloodtype too? geez! Anyway back to the subject in hand. I use to be a B-Positive. After many years of Rovers,i'm now a B-Negative.

At last Shover, it's passed 12 noon, so now, even on Baker Island and Hower Island there are only 16 days until the start of the month during which the revelation is due.
Should we get sandwich boards and stand on Glouces Rd to share the 'good news'?
It's an odd world isn't it, there are even evolution deniers out there. Strange, right?

I don't know how Wael's family came by their money in the first place, but didn't Higgs inherit his? A lot easier if you are born with a silver spoon I would have thought.

I was losing track with all various different rumours going round: - Club being sold / Current owners staying with additional investors ... - Mem redeveloped / UWE back on / Stadium at Filton alongside an Arena / Stadium at The Colony instead of training ground ... - New investors from: Southampton / Isle of Man / China / Malaysia / Dyson / Hargreaves … I was supposing someone somewhere will eventually guess close. But now I have finally heard the definitive answer to our questions: the Yanks are coming! Yes, I can reveal that a wealthy businessman from the US is looking to add to his sporting empire in the UK - he already owns a golf course in Scotland. He was quoted as saying: "I will build a great stadium - and nobody builds stadia better than me, believe me - and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great stadium for the Rovers, north of the river, and I will make the City pay for that stadium. Mark my words." Made I laugh. Best I’ve read in awhile. Thank you for making me smile

Makes you wonder if they are dropping fake bits to people to see which stories get out to see who they can trust? Good way to find a leak if not. Also acts fantastically at taking the limelight away from the players and gaffer. Hmmm! There have been several people, to on here but common courtesy stops me from naming them, who have directly written good old fashioned and handwritten letters. The answers have basically been variations upon a theme. I haven’t read the thread fully before I write this reply but the club have issued a video saying none of the rumours are true but that means nothing in reality and of course it could all be a play and for a plethora of reasons. We all saw and heard NH make the same statement and only around 3 weeks prior to announcing the Al Qadi family. Me ? I’m done with it now and am not pursuing any line or intimation anymore. It wastes too much time & I fully admit I’m losing the love of match days though Rovers will always be in my heart. I will still turn up, like a bad penny, pre and post match but will cherry pick the games I attend. I never thought I’d feel this way & hope something happens to change it. I was really enjoying see the old boys from my area turn up again for matches as it truly brought me joy but the majority of them have stopped coming and it felt like I’d be mugged. As I believe Socraties said, one thing I know is that I know nothing and never could this be more pertinent, in my case at least. I’m an idiot savant, no more no less.

That’s no bet though, is it ? Unless I have totally misread and misconstrued the situation then the charge against the only asset covers that. I’m kind of hoping there is a more palatable and maybe protective reason for it because, on the face of it, it very much looks like a covernote to me. I was tolerant up until I saw the clubs latest set of figures and it set of lots of horrible thoughts and especially the office in Laaandaaan plus the amount held in the clubs current account. Fact is, & I’ve now fully reconciled to it, we know nothing and it will remain that way until this changes. The saying be careful what you wish for comes to mind. What bothers me most is the momentum we had, going in our favour and how the club didn’t take full advantage of that. I doubt I will ever know such a position as we had in that period and I truly believe that this was the time to spend a little to gain a lot. I’d imagine that, with hindsight, the owners must feel the same way or at least I hope they would. Not since the Watney cup days and promotion, under Don Megson, have I felt that optimistic. I’d be ok now so long as we saw the players show the same level of effort but heads do now drop and we are crying out for real leadership on the pitch. It was such a pleasure to see every single player step up when we had the double promotion sides. Maybe we are better off with so called worse players, on paper, though with more to prove. Although not everyone’s cup of tea but if every player had the attitude of Stuart Sinclair then we would be in a better position ?.

Why is there now a time limit, a very small one at that, in which to edit posts please @adimin ? I saw I missed a comma only to get the message times up. It’s enough to make one paranoid that the forum has been told not to allow editing incase the club wish to use a post as some form of evidence. Really, around 10 minutes ago I posted only to be told times up. I really don’t like this. I’ve only ever twice removed entire posts and that was due to me realising I had posted while in a bad place. Bad times

Bad times Amusing to me KP that you are fretting over a missing comma, considering the state of half of the illiterate reprobates on here - including myself. Keep up the good work, I enjoy reading your posts.

If a takeover is happening, i very much doubt a charge would be allowed to remain on The Mem on the owners new asset, from the new owners, but all would come down to how, what, when and where is agreed that any debt is repaid to Dwane, much like NH got paid in chunks apparently

Yes and dildo and Sniveller have spelt their usernames wrong too. I get fed up with the pseuds on here
my guess is that you've misunderstood the tone of the exchanges. We were all playing with the same joke, not putting each other down - hence people have 'liked' posts which have criticised their posts it doesn't seem 'pseudy' to me, just low-level bantz Hey, I even added one of those smiley face things,,,(in yellow for those hard of seeing) no matter...

Oh my, how much do we really need 3 points somtime very soon, eh?
