This competition has been turns in to a farce by the EFL who no doubt have received payment from the Prem. I'm not going to any of them

Disinterested. It's a bit like the retail outlet store not really being a fair representation of a clothing brand. If anything, the presence of U23 Prem teams playing against lower league teams discourages younger players from going out on loan.
Still it's a good friendly game for us L1 clubs to test the fringe players and a few new formations.

Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Add 3 more, as Boycott did bowl (probably just before lunch or tea or when the game was gone,) and you've got a team! Having seen him open for England at Lord's it would be an excruciatingly boring game! But as to the Checkatrade, there are not enough Boycotts, as to TMS there's one too many (but I do wish him a speedy recovery from his recent operation.) Blimey these years go around, here we are writing the same as before.

Boycott this appalling competition. (By all means donate the equivalent match fee to BRFC or any charity BRFC are involved in). Boycott any away game where you are charged more than £25 on the day. The only way to make a difference is to hurt people in the pocket. Money. It's a Gas.

You're a masochistic old goat, Harry. I personally would like to think that the young England players in these academies will benefit from action in this competition and eventually get in their respective first teams and represent England at the next world cup which I must admit I and many millions of others thoroughly enjoyed watching recently.
I don't believe it will result in Prem Clubs forming B teams in the Football League.

These players have their own leagues, including European, cups and UEFA and FIFA champs. This has been discussed here and also during the World Cup, English players do not get enough first team time full stop. If there is dosh to be made B teams are possible, let’s face it fringe players and players coming back from injury would be attractive viewing instead of L2.

Let's make sure it doesn't by staying away so that it loses money.

However, the EFL are apparently working hard to encourage them to enter their Under 21's side into next year's version.

No, and the majority of the players in these big teams wont be English. We train the rest of the worlds footballers. there would be an outcry if the prem put B teams in the league. I think there would be mass demonstrations
