Tenner a pizza down my way. Nice as well. The Annexe will do you two lovely pizzas for £12. This guy paying £14 for pizza is a chump. If you're too lazy to go and pick one up then people have too much money. I can get a pizza in Vincenzos for £7 that'll knock any of those pizza hug type crap into orbit. Shop clever innit

If we had picked up £90m last season and then parachute money for the next 4 years I'm sure we would charge less as well. Careful what you wish for. So, just to clarify. Given the choice, would you stay as a crap team in lower tier football rather than accept a figure such as Tann who would give us prem football ?

If the choice was to play in red with that bloke in charge - I'd stick with lower tier football thanks.

Hoping for some good reports and positive signs the lads are turning into a team.
My first game (all being well) Grimsby next Saturday.
Looking forward to that.

£1 for a pint of Blackthorn? Still too expensive for that pisswater. Can't wait till we have Thatchers on tap! Thatchers Gold going downhill too - sold out to the clowns that like to drink the Strongbow and Somerby apple flavoured drink. Thatchers Dry or Hereford Dry my favourite sparkling cider now. Ashton Press decent and Orchard Cornish Gold a nice light pint. If you want headbanger juice try Healys Rattler - nearly 7% proof. ....oh and of course Blackthorn for a £1 a pint to get rid of old stock is decent too! COYB

Good to see mansell on the bench. Hopefully all the players can get through tonight. Brunt starting again in place of White, should we read much into that?

Just had a text from someone at the ground saying 'why is stuart sinclair not playing in the football league, quality player', another text was very complimentary about the style of football we are playing.

33 - Matty Taylor latches on to a mistake from the Coventry defence but couldn't slot it home from a difficult angle

Anyone else feeling a bit more bullish for this season after hearing comments about how well some of the first team players have been playing? Of course, the proof in the pudding is on Aug 9!

5 - Rovers earn a free kick after a foul on Brunt. 8 - Testing ball into the Rovers penalty area is cleared behind by Lee Brown. 9 - Corner comes to nothing and goes out for a goal kick. 13 - Clarke tries to find Leadbitter but the ball just runs out for a goal kick. 15 - Parkes finds Taylor in the box but the front man fires wide. 17 - Sinclair with a lovely ball into the area but the Coventry keeper was equal to it. 19 - Free kick for Coventry palmed to safety by Mildenhall. 24 - SAVED OFF THE LINE!! 24 - Sinclair jumped highest and met the cross from the left and the Coventry keeper could only parry it onto the post. 27 - James Maddison fires the ball over the Rovers goal and into the Blackthorn End. 29 - What a clearance off the line by Mark McChrystal!! 30 - Looping header is cleared off the line by the Rovers skipper. 33 - SO CLOSE FOR ROVERS!! 37 - Coventry chance as George Thomas fires over the bar after being faced by a wall of blue and white quarters.

just when you think it can't get worse! Don't know I think Darren Clarke might make quite a good manager. He's always seemed a calm presence on the golf course with a decent sense of perspective. He also has a good solid set of golf clubs I'd imagine which he could apply with some accuracy to the backsides under-performing players. The more I think about it the more I like the idea. In fact I don't understand why we haven't done it already. He's responsible for my favourite Ryder Cup moment (not a fan of golf but always watch that) when he and Jimenez were up against a couple of young all American types. Their opponents spent about 10 minutes on the first tea going through various extravagant limbering up exercises and in the back round all you could see was Clarke and Jimenez leaning on a rail with generous beer guts smoking big fat cigars. Then they went out and absolutely hammered the American's.

Double substitution for Rovers: Mansell and Gosling on to replace McChrystal and Clarke.
