1-1 FFS! Time for Nichols to step up?  Step up? Ellis had the ball wide left, Nichols was running into the penalty area, nobody within 2 yards of him, he fell flat on his face. That was shortly after being played in with a perfect ball over the top of the defenders, all he had to do was knock it into the 20 yards between him and the keeper then get his shot away, he stood on the ball and then watched as a defender ran off, slowly, with it. How that bloke has a contract as a professional sportsman is totally beyond me. |

Fair play we were brilliant tonight.
By far best performance of season, everyone played their part. Excellent team performance.
Bennett and Browners hitting post. Byron and Sercs missing easy chances. Bit of a goalmouth scramble.
They had goal disallowed and no shots on target first half.
Excellent match, story of season...so near yet so far...we are far from finished article, but with three injuries, we competed with top two in last few weeks and they couldn't beat us.
Reasons to be cheerful.. UptheGas!

Fed up we didnt win,guilty of over playing near their goal and making poor options from great positions.
That said great performance and numerous superb individual performances.
