Well,millions of injuries so team will almost pick itself with a few debutants on the bench no doubt.Perhaps Smith in goal and Slocers in midfield it's that bad!!!!
Anyway,we haven't done well against Charlton for yonks so would be nice to play well to-day now the pressure is off.Will be at Stoke v Spurs but my heart will be at the Mem.Remember playing Charlton at Eastville when they had a few internationals and their old ground had the largest capacity of any league ground.They like us became nomadic till they returned HOME.Recall refereeing Charlton when they won at Goodison.I was on the line but the Ref got injured and I took over but they have fallen back since those Alan Curbishley days.
Hope Sercs is back and expect Russe to feature.They will bring a few which after Bury's away support will add to the atmosphere.Let's have a good day although can't see Stoke doing much at this end.Let's dent their hopes boys and end their good run.

Liking the eternal optimist in all of us. Just think the play offs are one or two steps too much. Keep up the notion, though..
Charlton certainly have the ability to turn us over. I was at the first game of season, we just couldn't score.
Alot has changed, now we struggle to keep a clean sheet!
I'm sure we'll give them a game, but I fear back to back defeats. Hope not.
....but that's the eternal optimist in most of us! UptheGas..

But delighted to be in a position to play these sorts of teams in the top half of the third division again with fanciful Faustian notions of a late playoff push. Enjoy a proper football match. Edit: delighted also to confirm that Faustian is indeed a real word. |

With nine players out, I think it will be a tough ask to get anything from the game. So I expect defeat but hope is eternal...

Surprised that Magennis hasn't started for them. He usually scores against us. Still not convinced by the Locks/Craig centre-back pairing - so hope Charlton don't start lobbing high balls into the box. UTG.
