Good thread - and hopefully symptomatic of the future - better communication and engagement with the fans. I was in the Club shop yesterday and had a chat with an enthusiastic helper/assistant (may even have been bristolpirate) who was talking about the effect that DC has had on the players - positivity / strong work ethic / strong team ethic. Left the Mem more optimistic than pessimistic - which for me is quite a result... Keep up the good work.

My name is Matt Spicer. i am the person responsible for the "Captain Gas" Facebook account. I know I am probably mistrusted by a lot of people on here, but I can assure everyone, i dont work for the club and will stick with what I personally believe is 'right'.

Using the votes, I have drawn up a couple of quick charts to share with the Retail Group: This first one is a simple bar chart that plots the problems in order. Nothing much different from the original chart provided by the poll The second chart condenses the results a little further. If somebody has said they are unhappy with all three areas they have been effectively given three votes. So, Selection received 46 votes, Quality 14 votes, Price 8 votes. This is a Pareto analysis. The idea is to identify where 80% of the problem lies. In this instance, Selection took about 62% and Quality took about 19%. I am therefore happy to say to the team "our biggest problem lies with our selection of goods", but we should also pay very close attention to our Quality (whilst maintaining, or bettering the Price). Interestingly, the results provided by Facebook were very similar.

As "Selection" of goods has been identified as our major trouble area, I thought I would look at the categories currently on our website. They are:
Replica Kits Clothing (sub categories): Hats & Gloves Scarves Menswear Womenswear Leisurewear luxury Training Gear House & Home (sub categories) Bedroom Car Downstairs Accessories Children & Baby DVDs Programmes & Books Bristol Blue Glass Photography England Birthdays & Occasions Signed Specials Christmas Sale Items Helpline Membership
Are these category headings sufficient? Can anything be added, removed or expanded?
