I’m beginning to understand that going a goal down is a good thing.
Damn 2-2 as I’m writing

A shot from 25 yards according to Sky. Is that his first shot from outside of the box since scoring the winner against Cardiff in the League Cup about 18 months ago?!?

I stayed in tonight, feeling quite ill and under the weather. FFS. Sat here gingerly sipping Lemsip and watching the notifications fly in on the Sofa score app, more and more gutted every 15 minutes. What a cracker, 3-2 with 10 minutes to hang on!

Phew. We make it hard for ourselves don’t we? Still another three points now 11 from the drop and only five from the play-offs, Do we dare dream?

Just about deserved the victory but you can see we missed Harrison. Gaffney tried but little impact nicholls non existent. What a turn and pass by Moore for the third goal.just shows what he can do just need him to do it more regularly. Deja Vu wasn't this what the majority were saying about Ellis last year

Trouble is Rochdale have been playing on a poor pitch for some time and were familiar with the conditions.

I don't dare look at the tables, want to avoid getting carried away with play off excitement until it hits the '5 to go, you never know' stage...

For me, this was a similar match to Shrews at home, but we won.
Possibly we were better, but Rochdale deserve respect because they gave us some scares and good old Henderson haunted us again. He was my m o m pulling brown everywhere and terrorising our defence. Well played him.
Positives.. Broadbent my Gas m o m.
Lines not far behind, a screamer of the season and an assist..
Byron Moore looked sharp.
Smith brave performance and settled. One amazing save off the irregular bounce from the pitch.
Well done Joe Partington! Must be some sort of record a right back scoring three home games consecutively?
Negatives... Again we are late starters, almost sleepwalking into 1-0 down before we decide to get going.
Ref made some bizarre decisions, lino on east side bizarrely didn't see anything apart from our offsides!!!
The pitch. Seems worse now. Even lino sidelines are not fit for purpose, too muddy.
Ok, so dc subs again made a difference. We upped tempo , changed formation and lookfar more dangerous. Well done, dc.
First half mostly misplaced easy passes, runs not picked up, over hitting passes, not marking close enough and problems controlling the ball saw a scrappy match.
Fair play to Rochdale, they pressed us high up pitch and matched our mid. They had their chances against us, belying their lowly position
We ground out a result with a worldy winner....absolutely brilliant finish. Lines, we're so proud you're one of our own.
But tbh, everyone put in a shift. Broadbent contribution should not be understated. He's the business. Add a goal or two to his game and we've got a problem keeping him!(?)
So we move on to wombling free. Never easy, but dare we start to believe?
We were 7 points. Now we're 5. Win on Saturday to keep the dream alive!
UptheGas...
