I am not saying all is rosy, but Swiss has only offered supposition.
None of us are privy to Dwane Sports/Hani's intentions
He's quoted directly from company accounts. That's how we found out about the interest being charged. He also unearthed the charge on the stadium. Its still only his hypothesis. We dont know whether Dwane will take any interet, whether anything will be converted to equity or not. Again the charge is somewhat what what you want to make of it. Dwane dont need a charge to sell The Mem without a charge if they are desperate for their money back If Dwane sell their shares in 1883ltd, what sort of repayment are they going to expect and over what period? Again I am not saying everything is ok, but that Swiss has only interpreted the accounts his way

If there's no intention to draw the interest, and the company is losing money, there's no point in charging it. The charge on the stadium, we can all come up with theories about why it may be there, but Swiss has pointed out the fact that it is, as far as I recall, he went no further with it. This is beginning to resemble a discussion with Harry or BlueSky?

This is beginning to resemble a discussion with Harry or BlueSky? I am not sure what we are discussing/arguing about now really Yes it’s a fact there is a charge on The Mem and the accounts show ‘interest charged’ I was mainly replying to your comment “Hasn't Swiss put forward enough evidence of what's happening off the field to get you even a little bit worried?” I’m just saying that those facts are just what they are and don’t necessarily mean anything untoward that we should be worried about . Example Vincent Tan has written off a load of money including interest owed to him. so why charge interest? But will leave it at that, otherwise I am sure we will go round in circles not really arguing about anything

padstow . I always read your posts with interest as you have provided some interesting points even when everyone has been going nuts and you obviously DO have your contacts. I’ve learned to thoroughly research what I am able before I post now and from the stuff I am told then I would be daft to just dismiss it and especially when it comes from experienced and relevant people. My own take on things is that WAQ has got in deeper than he even believed and now really doesn’t know what to say let alone do. After so many years of support, of course it bothers me and how those who have been going much longer than me must feel must be horrible. With all the goodwill in the world, you cannot make a team perform consistently above it weight and what we have maybe grown to expect is to overachieve. You only have to look at DC in interview and he has that look of a man who is saying how do you expect me to do my job when you are not doing yours and he’s been fairly outspoken too. We habe some of the best fans in the country and they deserve better. I will leave it at that. January will be interesting to say the least I don't get all this "we deserve better" tosh. Today we could have been 1 up in the first minute but we fluffed it and then Partington made an awful error to concede the penalty. The confidence just seemed to evaporate thereafter. As far as the doom and gloom off the pitch is concerned, if someone knows a fact, state it. If not it's just tedious peddling of innuendo. When you are given certain information then you first have to know if it’s true, I can’t say that but I can say that I do research as much as I can prior to posting. It’s up to each poster if they want to believe it or not. I can’t help them with that so, if they find it tedious, just scroll on by. It really is that simple. As for the other stuff, I believe our fans have shown and proved themselves many times over as some of the most loyal in the country and I think a manager should make the players understand the lengths many go to, to attend matches only to see a team seemingly devoid of the desire to win

I'm a bit confused by the following KP - 'My own take on things is that WAQ has got in deeper than he even believed and now really doesn’t know what to say let alone do'
maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that there haven't really been any surprises since he arrived, except maybe the UWE plan wasn't what he'd expected, we got promotion at first time of asking into L1, and then his family have apparently changed their mind about the speed with which investment might arrive
that all seems to me to go with the job

He was even close to boasting at one stage at how cheaply he/they got us for. I just think that reality has sunk in and that bills need paying. I like Wael but I have the feeling he is very much like one of us, a fan with not really much idea of how much it really costs, to run a league 1 football club. Thats it. No Machiavellian stuff to look for.

The "speed with which investment might arrive". Key word "might". I do feel sorry for Wael. His powerlessness reminds me a little of Mr Higgs in a way. The enormity of the task appears too big for him. "Now does he feel his title hang loose about him, like a giant's robe upon a dwarfish thief".
