Jesus was anybody else listening to the game / there? We were unlucky, should have scored and we did not, we then chased the game. Never knew the season finished in September, Ok not looking good for promotion but really....................

Our away form since the start of last season isn't just bad luck, if such a thing even exists.

I feel sorry for the manager as i think he signed his new contract firmly believing we would be moving to a fab new stadium and top class training facility in the near future. Add to that he has to work with nowhere near a "top 6" budget. Brett pitman is the type of proven goalscorer we are simply not in the running to sign and tonight is simply a result of what happens when that is the case. Attendances are not the big thing they used to be and everything else about the set up at rovers screams 20th in league 2.

Euphoria after a win, depressive doom after a loss. The bipolar Gashead way.
You don't become a bad side overnight, we are far from that. Just a frustrating inconsistency and silly individual mistakes hampering us at the moment, nothing that can't be sorted. We're a midtable outfit, looking for that long term stability at this level. Talk of relegation trouble is laughable. As at Wigan, tonight was never a 3-0 game & we have a chance to bounce back with a reaction quickly, on the weekend. The Mem is our fortress and we'll put Plymouth away with ease on Saturday (confident head on)!
Looking forward to a few pre match brewskis, 3 more home points and a beautiful Sporty pizza.
Cheer up Dudes.

So on Saturday we play our third consecutive Club who were promoted from League Two last season. We have beaten Blackpool 3-1, Lost 3-0 at Portsmouth and now have a South West Derby against the other Dockyard Club Plymouth Argyle. Can we avoid the Dockyard double ? Argyle are bottom of the league and have Blissett leading their attack say no more !

First half we were the better team and should not have been behind. My mate sponsored the game and he and the other Pompey fans in the group agreed that we were better first half. Second half Pompey closed us down quickly and we looked poor. The team gave up after the second goal, which was disappointing to see. Long hard winter coming.

No it's Coming up to the beginning of October and we are in a dire situation ffs Not dire yet but the warning signs are clearly there. Not dire yet we seem to concede 3 goals on the road every time , don't turn possession into goals and then get punished , the heads drop and we plummet on down the league positions. It's not likely to be a quick fix either which means waiting until January to sort out the woeful inadequecies which engulf our squad , thing is though we could be right in the relegation mix by then on current form and the window could well be too late.

A bit? Straight out of Wuthering Heights that! Out on the wiley, windy park We'd roll and fall in blue You had inadequacies, like our back four Too slow, too woeful How could they engulf us When we needed possession? I hated you, I loved you, too Bad results in the league They told me we were going to lose the fight Leave behind our stuttering, stuttering Stuttering strikeforce DC, it's me, AMPG Let's always play at home, I'm so cold! Let us in the transfer window...

Of course its a West Country Derby for Pilgrims its their quickest/nearest journey from Home Park On the basis of nearest clubs I assume Oxford are now our nearest rivals for a derby match? no ...our nearest club for a derby lies just 5 miles away
FROM M4: At junction 19, exit onto M32 towards Bristol. Continue on A4032. Turn left at A4044/Bond Street. Continue to follow A4044. At Temple Circus Gyratory, take the 2nd exit onto A4/Templegate. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A370/York Road. Continue to follow A370. Go through one roundabout. Slight left to merge onto Brunel Way. Take the next left at traffic lights for Ashton Gate.*This route directs through Bristol City Centre and journey time can be significantly increased due to traffic. Travelling along the Portway via the M5 is often considerably quicker. For the Portway, leave the M4 at junction 20 and join the M5 South-bound, then follow the above directions for M5*.
