Either our discipline has changed or refs are being more harsh. Gutted about the sending off as it seems we were set up to really have a pop. It's getting a bit worrying now

Ouch!
Bad couple of days, a poor week of performances (because for me, Walsall played well and the crowd helped massively). At times, we've made poor decisions at important times, at other times we just haven't been good enough. Injuries and suspensions haven't helped.
Dc and his management team have a challenge, because the next 3 matches (2 away) are against teams on form.
Hold fast, GasHeads.....hold fast!

Forget the sending off were f**ked this season. Cannot defend full stop this is the worst run of poor performances by a rovers team under Clarke. Have never known so many players underperforming game after game as said before why take gaffney off when we needed a goal for at least a draw. The bigger squad was always going to be too much of a temptation for Clarke to rotate his players even more than last season hence the current league position.

I guessed that Wigan would score early into the second half and would score late on. Listened to first half on radio couldn't go to match work commitments. Didn't listen to second half knew how the scenario would pan out went to the pub instead. It's another regulation home win for Wigan it's so embarrassing being a gashead at the moment.

Just back.
I think we will finish about 17th. We have enough about us to stay up, but that's about it.
For me the defensive issues we have were summed up by the wall following the sending off. Yes there was a sending off, but the wall was a shambles and clearly a shambles before the free kick was taken. No one organising.

Hold fast! Stand up and be counted! We can do better and invariably will. Rovers always do it arse about face, lose at home to winless Oldham so maybe get a result at Wolves ? I hope so as we are now going (we didn't go today) and Rovers have lost the last 7 games that I have seen them play (not including friendlies) bound to change sometime.

DC wanted a defensive midfield player but didn't / couldn't get one (not blaming DC) people on here have said that they cant see the need for a DM but I agree with DC,someone like Mansell who can tackle and pass is needed.

Forget the sending off were fed this season. I don't agree,DC had to take Gaffney (or another forward ) off so that he could bring Broadbent on to replace Sweeney,he couldn't play with a 3 man defence.

I thought he did ok. Was impressed by Bola. Leadbetter was better but still not at the races and seemed to have been identified as a weak link by Wigan.
