Will make a nice change away from the cauldron of league football as no-one expects us to progress too far.Would be nice though to make the next round and draw a big club. Hope Gaffers starts.Time running out for any signings .Fleetwood no mid-week game but think we will play well to-night.

History tonight, hopefully. Who like me was at the Withdean Stadium the last time Rovers won away at a higher placed club in the League Cup ?
Way back on 24 Aug 2004. Lee Thorpe and Richard Walker scored in a fine 2-1 victory.

Tough match but always look forward to playing Fulham.
You just never know when an Ollie Clarke screamer will make all the difference!

See Youngster on bench for keeper slot.As a matter of interest has Milds retained his playing registration? Think he should if not as would prefer him on Bench if push came to shove.

Honestly this is one of the things that triggers me, why not bring on a reserve teenage keeper, you never know how good they will be unless they get a chance. Ever since Ollie lost faith in Lee Jones and decided he couldn't trust Kuipers, we have been scratching around for loan keepers and never giving our own a chance. Martin Thomas, Phil Kite and Timmy Carter never let us down and they were all barely shaving when they first played. I don't want to restart the Ryan Clarke debate, but he would have done until something better came along. There isn't really that much at stake, it's only 3rd tier footie or a one off cup game at best.
