Was there last night, Ellis Harrison was horrifically bad and Kieran Preston dropped a bit of a clanger for the Mango's goal, but I was impressed by the number 6 Jay Malpas and the lad from Cirencester looked promising, although he was not done any favours by the rest of the team and didn't get on the ball in attacking positions as much as he probably would have liked.

Delighted to hear Jay played well. He and my lad used to play together for a junior side. He and his dad (who was actually on our books at one time) were both big followers of the dark side, but I know Jay loves it at Rovers, and his dad even admitted to me he was cheering on Rovers in theJohnstones Paint gamelastyear. |

I think his uncle (Mike) never made the first team, played a lot of games for Bath I think.
