Surely not Waugh (M) Irish! Not even the best player in his family! Wasn't that sledge the other way round - ie. directed at Waugh (S)? I always thought it was but maybe not. |

No, it's my favourite sledge and it was said by Jimmy Ormond to Mark Waugh as Ormond came into bat. MW Said something about scraping the barrel to choose Ormand and JO said to MW "at least I'm the best player in my family." At last that's what I've always read.
