Thanks for the feedback, Tom. Bridgeman has made some good points re. the attendance, also quite a lot of folks on holiday at the moment, or maybe taking a break from all things Rovers related until the new season kicks off.

The Welly Warriors attracted over 50 plus to their meetings at the Pub...was the location of the meeting the problem ? Or purely the holiday season

Or purely the holiday season i went to the 2nd meeting at the welly tent [there were moans about it being held on a world cup game night!!] and i 'm pretty sure the number never reached 50 that night,

Or purely the holiday season i went to the 2nd meeting at the welly tent [there were moans about it being held on a world cup game night!!] and i 'm pretty sure the number never reached 50 that night, think there was just over 30 at the 2nd welly meeting... it is difficult , there are a large number of people who dont live in Bristol that would have an interest in attending things like this but its impossible to do so, travel time, work, cost ect all effect people, we would have loved to have the BRISA meetoing on the Funday (straight after) last wek but the club wouldnt allow it, we also looked at Tomoor (sat) but again the club said no , infuture we may have to think of a different venue to suit of choice of dates better

I guess the fact people are on holiday does not help. In addition it is difficlt for some people to make it to Bristol for an evening meeting, for example I work in central London and it's a 270 mile round trip for me.
One thought to boost attendances, why not try to hold some meetings after a home game on a Saturday?

I'd attend during the season, but to be honest I have had much better things to do with my summer than anything Rovers related.
