YES change the badge PLEASE. I like it, but it is impractical as the sword that has to be in any frame means the rest of the badge fits into half the total space.
I like the round style such as Chelsea or Celtic.

Certainly not. I love the pirate badge, one of the most unique designs in the country. All of my non-Gas friends compliment the badge and quarters, and every year the FIFA community votes it in the top 10 in English football. It's iconic and I wouldn't want it any other way. 'unique design' 'its iconic' sounds like a Sinclair C5 or Crocs....'the FIFA community' like it ! another reason to bung it in the dustbin of history.

This would be great. More City of Bristol, Gloucestershire-Bristolian colours, no red, no camp pirate, no BC1982 cartoon unicorns, nothing trendy/transient/fasionable, and no poxy hashtags.

No thanks. Looks like a tower drawn by a six year old hiding Plymouth's ship badge. The colours are poor and the lettering worse. Very ragbag in style.

I think it needs tidying up,but I agree with all that you say. Should the 'Pirate' have a name ? I suggest Honky Tonk. btw I wore my Retro Rovers hat with the old club crest to Gillingham and some blokes asked where I bought it,they want to get them for wearing in Portugal when Rovers play there.

...the Suspension bridge, or the SS Great Britain... Have to disagree there. The Suspension Bridge is magnificent, but goes to Somerset from where Bristol Sport 1982 come. The SSGB's interesting, but on the floating harbour, the old Avon; the Frome's our river. There's no evidence that Isambard Kingdom Brunel ever watched Bristol Rovers before he died in 1859 or after the Black Arabs were formed in 1883.

I like our current badge a lot more than any other previous badges and would much rather we kept it. If the desire was there though, I wouldn't be adverse to a vote. The current badge vs 2 or 3 others maybe. I think a vote may be difficult to manage, certainly an internet one. I don't particularly care about what badge we have but I would prefer not to have one as the result of an internet vote that could be easily hijacked. I think we've voted for kits before haven't we? (I may be wrong). I'd rather just keep it as is to be fair.

Amazing how a simple question such as "Should we *consider* changing our club badge, yes or no?" triggers homophobia, ageism, personal attacks and all sorts of talk completely unrelated to the rather simple question at hand.
Yikes. What a poisonous website.
That being said, I'm ok with the badge as is, maybe just do something about the sword, make it a bit shorter or something, but I think it's pretty much nice.

Yikes. What a poisonous website. Pardon? Let's start with homophobia. Where is this homophobia?!
