Rovers playing some excellent football and deserve to be ahead at half time. Gaffers and James playing well. Apart from 5 mins before half time when sarfend made a double substitution we've been in total control.
Looks a good crowd here too.

Great result against a horrible and very physical team.
Thought everyone worked their socks off today, but thought Manse was immense given the lack of match time he had.

Overall deserved the win. First half excellent at times. Second sitting too deep at times but apart from one great save from Lumley and a bad miss from Ranger, we looked fairly comfortable in defence. Ten more points to beat Trollope's 63 points in the second season in League One. That would be a real achievement given where we were just two years ago.

A very different second half with lots of defending to be done and done it was. Thought our midfield went missing a bit and just let Southend keep the ball. But when we attacked we looked good and Luke James very unlucky not to score.
