Bit naughty that last 500 tickets only available in person from the mem usually available by phone also can't make it Monday morning work commitments thought the future of the gas was to cast the net far and wide as with the student initiative not just for people who live just around the corner will still go but will have to go in the Coventry section.

Not obsessed with away attendances just making the point that the teams mentioned would normally take a lot more away which seems to suggest Coventry are somehow limiting the amount of away supporters. Twice as many Gas expected as Accrington and Morecambe get at home.See Coventry playing at home tuesday. Not sure if this is an advantage to us or not?

Hands up anyone who saw Rovers last League visit to Coventry City on 23 Nov 1963 ? A 4-2 defeat. Mind you we won at Coventry City in an FA Cup two weeks later on 7 Dec with Geoff Bradford and Harold Jarman goals in a 2-1 victory.
Thirteen league visits to Coventry ...bet no one around who saw our only league win there 21 Jan 1928 3-2 win !

Hopefully sales will break through 4000 so it makes me wonder how many would have gone to Sheffield Utd or Bolton had they been Saturday fixtures.

I think that these away games where 'everyone' goes can be a bit of a pain, big queues, half an hour to get served in the pubs and no increase in atmosphere I thought that Southport away in the Conference was better than Woking that season or Portsmouth last season.

Not sure we will get sales through 4,000 if you can't get ticket sales to pick up the phone! I've tried 4 times this morning and left a message to call me back. Maybe there are still lots of other people trying to get through and they haven't got the staff? Not a great customer experience.

I had to look up "ameliorating" - but agree 100%. I've now called 6 times without success. A lot of people would have given up by now. Effectively it's the last day to buy and expect them in the post before Saturday. I'm not blaming the staff - but this antiquated system needs sorting out.

Great days when fans are complaining that they cannot get hold of an away ticket against a lowly Div 1 side when we have been allocated 4000. Brilliant. But totally agree about the ticketing system, but that is going to require bar code readers on the turnstiles.....new stadium?
