Cue the slagging off fans who are concerned and do not want to see us stay rock bottom, or see worse still. Lynch mob apparently, as has been the case for a few years as their concerns turn true.
Pre-season so far is showing the lack of squad depth, notably how poor our subs bench will be this season. You cannot win promotion with no squad depth, we all know that.
Lynch mob for being concerned about that and wanting us to go up at the first attempt? What a divided fan base we have become.

Why no match thread or updates? What's the score? To be honest i am not really interested in the pre season games. Results mean feck all, i just hope we put it together in the games that matter.

Of course these games are about fitness. Winning and scoring goals is however very good for confidence. Losing and not scoring can become a nasty habit to get out of.

Sprout agree with what you say and we sent a weak squad BUT it would be good to have a pre-season where we win games.

I didnt realsie we played a full strength team. I thought it was more like a 3rd team looking at the team sheet. A thousand apologies. I am now very concerned and want Clarke out. What is the bloke doing? A massive budget, backing from the best board in the land, understanding `concerned` supporters. Jesus, the bloke dosent know hes born. Never mind Christmas, get rid now I say.

to be fair the game was only used to look at players. the problem was there were no players worth signing, who would improve our current squad

Would be nice, but i remeber havinga good pre season and the mighty Dave Gilroy beating West Brom.....

We've only played 1 pre season fixture Unless of course we'd beaten Bath :0) Doesn't matter whether it would have been a 6-0 win or 6-0 defeat, it was a BRFC XI and a chance for youth and trialists to prove themselves. Looking at the pre-season fixtures teams normally play 4 or 5, we've played Cheltenham, we then have yeovil, gloucester & coventry. Our BRFC XI team have played Cirencester, Bath & will play Mangotsfield on tuesday. Nice to see that the youth and trialists have a decent amount of fixtures, and 4 games for the first XI is not to many to pick up injurys and enough for the players to get match fitness.

Im concerned, very. But I am giving Darrel Clarke a chance under the circumstances;being major changes at Rovers, lack of funding, wallets firmly shut etc, etc. Even die hard servants to Rovers are being made redundent which shows how bad `things` are but I dont think people want to accept what is happening. They have no choice really. They will only drive themselves nuts otherwise. A bit like me

Didn't think we were as bad as some are making out today. Gosling looked decent as did Thompson up front. Mitchell struggled at times as did Trotman as things went on.
