Happy to get away with a point from that, we got taught a footballing lesson there.
Keeper was the MoTM.
Yet another utterly incompetent performance from a referee, he may as well have turned up wearing a Bradford shirt.

Do hope Bodin is fit for the next match. We do lack genuine goal threat without him it seems. At least we scored though, last week at Rochdale we didn't score and Bodin played in that game. The general theme of the last 3 games has been steady, solid & settled, and although we were scoring for fun in the first half of the season it bit us on the arse defensively. Losing MT will cost us goals because we don't have any other strikers at the club who are natural goalscorers, they are all workhorses who will run all day battle for everything and make things a nightmare for defenders, but the opposition keeper won't be tested much by them. Great to see Broom and Lucas get some minutes, Broom looked raw but the potential there is massive, if DC can give him plenty of minutes from off the bench until the end of season, we will have another very good academy graduate coming through for next season.

First half was fairly even but the warning signs were there in that Bradford looked very good on the ball. Second half Bradford were the better team and created most of the chances. We resorted to long balls which were in the main not effective and just brought the pressure back onto us. Defensively were held firm but requIred a couple of great saves and a bit of luck. I just don't see Luke James as a natural striker but perhaps that is a little unfair as he has not had much game time. Both goals were good in their own way, a brilliant individual goal and Bradfors's a good team goal. So overall, happy with a point as we could easily have lost.

Great game of football today (yesterday). Bradford were up for it and as always, Darrell made sure we were too.i really enjoyed that game...Ref was s**t, but us and them went for it. Linesy got man of the match. Fair enough, but Ollie, Dan, Sweeney and the East side linesman were up there too. We are going up.

I thought an entertaining match between two positive playing teams. Not dirty or play acting, makes a refreshing change to watch two teams genuinely going for a win with counter and counter-counter attacks.
The best performance from a keeper that isn't ours, I've seen in a long time. My m o m..
Both goals were brilliant, but Lines cultured curler was sublime.
Sweeney looks the business. Even Locks looks more secure and brave to take one in the face.
Not sure of ellis/james pairing yet. I'm sure dc will mix the pairings up a bit, and maybe they just need time to settle, ut I'd like to see playing closer together and link up more.
I liked Montys crossing. Although sometimes there wasn't a head on end of it, but he pops that ball in unsettling areas for defences. If we had a a good old fashioned centre forward with natural instinct to attack with head, I'm sure monty would be invaluable with his assists. Just a shame no one could capitalise yesterday.
I'm glad Broom and Jamie Lucas featured. In one instance Broom brought the ball out some distance but just made the wrong choice. Looks fast though.
Fair play, we went at them early like a train. As the match panned out I thought we were good for our draw as Bradford play some stylish, attractive attacking football.
Our crowd was loud in bits, quiet at others. Like the all new Matty Traitor song! Hilarious..
Well done dc for creating a team and taking it to a very decent Bradford side that will be in the mix at end of season, without arguably our best creative player (Bodin, for me).
Same again Tuesday please..

100% agree. I thought the DC treatment of Easter was very un-wise at the time. Post snake-leaving it looks increasingly obvious that that was a major mistake. Unless Ellis/James starts to click (OK - only 2 games in but not looking great) - then we only have Plan B Ellis/Gaffney. A Plan C could involve Easter playing in behind Ellis. If anyone can pick a pass to unlock a tight defence - it's Easter. The justification for him being "not considered for selection" is supposed to be that "we're building for the future we don't need older players". Well we're not a million miles away from a play-off place - and denying Easter a few games could be the difference between finishing 6th and 7th. Just saying...

Lumley certainly earned that point for us or I am sure it would have been 1-3 at least

Most definitely and asap. We may have held it together but we looked toothless up front and that's worrying

Definitely a big old fashioned YES from me on that 'un. I believe that Jermaine Easter was contributing to the team at the time of the announcement, and that he could certainly bring a little variety and experience to performances. I would like to think that the manager may even now realise that he may have been a little hasty, as he was in the case of Steve Mildenhall a while back.

One of our problems is we play a lot of long balls and although Ellis in about the best of our strikers in the air he is not a Devon White so the majority of the time the ball comes straight back at us.Our defence, albeit a lot tighter, need to be a bit more selective in their distribution and truy to keep the ball lower than the top of the stands, then you may see James getting chances to prove his worth, but against big defenders he hasn't got a cat in hells chance of winning the ball
