And Burnley made 8 changes so the game was basically against Burnley Reserves. Really? So a side with Sam Vokes up front and Joey Barton in midfield is a sh"t side according to you. So tell me, seeing as this was a poor Burnley side, how do you think Bristol Rovers would have got on up there? That's ignoring that you lost at home to FC Barrow. You think you would have done much better do you? Word to the wise Kaiser old chap, you're biting now as opposed to nibbling. Time to give it a rest methinks.

Hey Loser, when you've stopped spitting your dummy, you have a question a few posts up above, can you define exactly what it is that makes one club 'better' than another? Edit. A couple of hours ago they were just another club, one that you played twice last year, no big deal, that's why none of your millions of fans bothered going, now in seems that their centre forward is unplayable and some yob who isn't even good enough for The Highlands League bossed your midfield all afternoon, that's why you lost, again. We know you can't help being a bit daft, but at least try to be consistent

No answer I see. How on earth a supporter of a League 1 side knocked out in the first round can say that it was a poor Burnley side...
Care to answer. You think you would have done better do you?

You think you would have done much better do you? But surely your manager has just been scouting and signing all these European quality signings? Surely they should have made a difference? Closing the gap against teams you will be will not be playing next year. Looking at the last few results think I know what the answer is to that one....... Maybe you need to take up supporting Oxford United - they did quite well today and saved a few million on you in the process.

Get off your high horse demanding answers of other people and deal with the question I've asked you, twice so far! But I'll answer your daft question anyway, in this competition a defeat is a defeat, you don't progress, doesn't matter if it's 1-0 or 21-0, so we couldn't have done any worse than you, could we

You think you would have done much better do you? Yep. I honestly do. We might've lost, maybe more than 2-0, but we wouldn't have had numerous fans still saying they want our manager out and Ladygardendown is an x y z for not sacking him on rad bris c. We might've lost, maybe by 2goals, but we wouldn't have taken a player whom doesn't wanna play for us cos he refused to sign a contract (Freeman) on a coach hoping he would by the time we kicked off! We might've lost, yep by the odd goal, but we would've gone for it. Gritted teeth, had more attacks in last 10 than starting 10, but we wouldn't have given up. Nor would our fans....we would def have taken more than 700. We might've drawn, again better, but I seriously doubt it. You know, we aren't too bad against Burnley at home. I don't think they've ever won against us at home. Yep, we would've done better, I'm sure. We just wouldn't have done it your way.. I'll leave you to go back to where you came from cos tbh, you're classic sh*thead, club and team are embarrassing and you rightly shut up when you lose. Begone..

This isnt about us, it's about how pathetic your team is, how pathetic your support is and how pathetic you are coming here, 343 posts and counting. This whole saga of you coming on here has backfired tremendously and it's a real giggle to watch. Credit to you for keeping on coming back though, love it!

Nobody knows the answer to that question but a loss is a loss. If we had played them they might have been as complacent and arrogant against us as City 82 have been over the years. Although I wouldn't put Burnley in the arrogant class.... Now can you kindly answer Bamber's question, what do think constitutes a "better club". I am genuinely interested as this is bandied about a lot by 82ers....

The reason that our old friend from Withywood keeps posting on here, is because he is banned from his own clubs forum. It seems that even his own kind don't like his view on things.

You think you would have done much better do you? You are right, we lost to Barrow, it happens often that we go out to a lower league side, as indeed have Ipswich and Brighton this year, to a non league side. It embarrassing for an evening and then no one cares. It appears from your increasingly unbalanced posts, that you don't like gas heads bringing up history, yet it is increasingly a part of your ammunition. I think, if you want to come on a Bristol Rovers forum which increasingly you do in a bizarre gimp way, why don't you talk about your own teams record which is $HIT, THE WORST IN ALL LEAGUES, EMBARRASSING, COMICAL and INDEFENSIBLE..........Oh yes that's probably why........it is indefensible!

The s***heads must be living in fear and dread as each matchday approaches. So let's all raise a glass to another defeat against Sheffield Wednesday shall we?

Move it wherever you like. You guys created it.
I'll leave you with this. Both sides have exited the FA Cup.
1. A 2-0 defeat away in the 4th round to the team 13th in the Premier League.
2. A 1-0 defeat at home in the 1st round to a non league team.
Now if you can seriously seriously say ours is the more embarrassing result well, I'm really at a loss on how you possibly think that.

Keep to the facts old chap or naff off and play with the traffic. I don't think anywhere in this thread that it was stated to be more/less embarrassing. It seems to have been more about travelling fans (lack of) and then migrated to discussing - yet another - loss by your over hyped expensive failures. Come to think about it that kind of does make it a bit of an embarrassment.......
