MT could have gone in the summer on a free. He didn't. He's staying. As is DC. As is the backbone of the fantastic Rovers team. Up The Gas. What an unbelievable 2016 - from the Al-Qadi take-over, to THAT moment Browner side-footed in the winner against Daggers, to a play-off chasing Division 1 campaign. It has been a f******g great footballing year. Happy New Year all Gasheads. And my heartfelt sympathy to the in-bred scum south of the river.

I thought Ollie Clarke was MoM today, but there were plenty of candidates which is a great sign.
Taylor's reaction to not getting a hat-trick when he missed a simplish header late on showed how hungry he is to do well. 60 goals in 113 games in 'league' football since he joined. Impressive.

Agree with that Stu,thought Ollie was MOTM today and thought Leadbitter was up there too, but no one was poor today

Sympathy indeed, they know where the ticket office at The Mem is, and everybody likes blue more than red, it's not as if they are forced to go to that pit and watch Lansdown's vanity project blow up in his face year after year.

Everyone was magnificent today. Felt a bit sorry for Monty, but the threat was always elsewhere, so he got replaced. Lines, Clarke and Danny were exceptional. Ellis was outstanding. Everyone else was mint. Great performance against a good side. Keep saying it, but we'll finish 4th. Happy New Year all. UTG.

3 quality new signings, Bodin, Lines & Leadbitter back to there best, plus a repeat of the second half of the previous 2 seasons, and i can't see us doing anything but staying in and around the top 8. Puddy proving he's a decent keeper, maybe not first choice, but more than decent enough to be part of the squad and adequate enough to come in and do a job if required.

Love Sinclair's workrate and never say die attitude but imo we're just a better side without him in it. Hate saying that as he was a big part of our double promotions but the holes he creates by running here and there are more exposed and more exploited at this level

You have totally missed the point and I will not be celebrating at all if/when he leaves. Can't recall saying what you appear to think I said. No matter. Forums exist for people to express an opinion and everyone should be free to do so without being insulted.

I think an apology would have been appropriate with that post rather than another dig. Crater was spot on with his comment. You were out of order with yours.
