Agreed. Plus Chris Lines...1 mistake and the idiots near us decided he is crap. Man of the match for me. Should have been 12-2. Lines was brilliant! Don't know how anyone could say otherwise. There was a moment when I thought he was injured which provoked a serious question.....whom would be our midfield playmaker if he was absent? I also liked James contribution. Especially in a 3 man attack.. Agree thought James looked decent when he came on

First goal scored by Gaffers at home since April...thank goodness we have Matty. Defence still conceded two goals but has to be said we created so many clear cut goalscoring chances could easily have been 8-2

I think we're going to be part of the BBC "magazine" rubbish, so we'll be partly televised? Oh that thing - better than nothing but as an exile it's always a slight disappointment to miss on a live TV game. Pretty sure someone would have been tempted to show us against Taunton. It is a shame that Taunton couldn't quite do it, I think TV would have happened then even if it was at our place. I actually think the Sunday magazine style programme is ok. It gives a wider coverage of lots of non league teams and at least the BBC are giving broadcast time to the cup and widening the overall coverage. And I bet the money the non league teams get will help proportionally far more and be a godsend to them all. On the Sunday it was the main football whereas on the Saturday listening to the radio the PL just took over as it always does and even Macclesfields win at Walsall was not even mentioned until much later. For the early rounds of the cup Saturday coverage is difficult as it has to be lunchtime or teatime and then it's missed because most fans are travelling so it has to be Friday night or Sunday. Perhaps not perfect but I think that 2 hours on a Sunday is ok. Whatever, it's 100 times better than the awful coverage ITV gave it. Anyway, Rovers through to the 2nd round blimey, let's hope the 5th round beckons! A cup run would be good. UTG!

Whilst we should have enough in the locker (even if CL plays well or not! Ahem...) we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that Barrow are in a play off spot in NL and lost only twice this season. They will be up for it for sure (as you would expect)but we take them lightly at our peril me thinks. But think a bigger concern at the moment is what this Sat/Tues Sat run of games plus ET last night is doing to the legs for an important 3 pts on Saturday. DC seems confident of the fitness levels and I think that showed as the game progressed last night. We shall see.

Oh...also it seems their manager was here with a certain club, on a particular day I seem to have no memory of a couple of years ago.

I'm convinced that twat wanted us to lose. He buggered off when we went 4-2 up shouting that he had seen enough s***e. far off the mark for me wanting rovers to lose, so wrong there.....it was s***e. and as the penalty went in that was enough for me.... Crawley were flagging already then and i i pretty well concluded there was nothing left for them,so with an hours drive in front of me i took leave happily for you ...... lines i so lacadaisical at times it pisses me off, stupid silly mistakes pretty often tell you why he never really made it when he went to 'wednesday , as for the twat thing thought that was below you and the muppets around you deciding to go gutter talk about my daughter, well i have one more game to watch and that will be it for me, end of. Hang on. I stood with Cast in Stone among others and have no idea what you're on about (daughter). Also left at 4-2 plus 2 minutes, as was happy that after a complete domination of Crawley, we were through and had to get across the other side of the city. Chris made one error and was bloody brilliant last night.

Lines ran the show until that mistake, thought he played within himself second half. Big positives for me were the contributions of Montano, Gaffney, Bodin and James. Gaffney looks back to his best, hopefully he can go on a little run now. Bodin and James came off the bench and showed they could be real assets. James nearly scored a wonderful goal and Billy always looked threatening and won the penalty. Pleasing performance, if a little daft at the back.

Positives in that we're through to the next round with a winnable tie.
Have to say we should've put the game to bed long before and I saw Crawley's equaliser coming a mile off as we'd wasted chance after chance. Gaffney and Taylor should've walked off with a match ball. Montano got into some fantastic positions but finishing was very poor, really should've had a couple himself.
As others have said probably the best cameos of the season from Bodin and James, the latter should've had a contender for goal of the season after controlling it well, flicking it over a defenders head and agonisingly hitting the post with a volley from outside the box. Thought Clarke-Salter did well in extra time, solid at the back and showed excellent technical ability bringing it out from the back.

Well that escalated quickly.... Simply no way I am believing someone could have been there last night, if they claim Lines was crap and that was a s*** performance from Rovers. CL back to his best by controlling the game & surging forward with those driving runs. Gaffney, Sincs, Montano & even Luke James, all excellent in their contributions. All in all, it was total domination from the first minute to the last, numerous chances created which (on a perfect night) could have seen us win by double figures. If last night was 'poor', you're better off staying at home entertaining the old dear with a few reruns of Buckle, McGhee & Wards greatest moments. That won't take long, about 30 seconds if that! UTG!

I hope you all didn't get caught up in the mad traffic that follows huge crowds leaving a game.
3,676.
Goodness me it must have been like Old Trafford on a Saturday afternoon!

Purely at random, first result that Google threw out, a very similar crowd to the one that turned up at your dump to watch you play Oxford in the League cup, 4065, only difference being, Oxford brought a lot more than Crawley and it was a warm September evening. Next.

Decent alround performance.Good to see Rory score twice. Also,Lucas had a fine cameo role and showed signs of coming out of the shadows.
