Oh well, so much for the 'new manager bounce', another defeat so the 100% record remains intact.

Was a poor game to be honest, if Bath had their internationals playing I'm not sure Bristol would have got off so lightly. Record attendance apparently 14,000+

London Welsh not gone into administration, gone into liquidation.
Shows how quickly fortunes can change in professional sport if crowds don't hold up and / if you don't have a wealthy backer.

London Welsh not gone into administration, gone into liquidation. Shows how quickly fortunes can change in professional sport if crowds don't hold up and / if you don't have a wealthy backer. My cousin played for them and we have indirect family connections going back donkey's years so I find it quite sad. However, it's really their own fault (or at least the fault of those that ran the club) for failing to grasp their own limitations. They were (and could still be) a very strong Amateur/Semi-Pro outfit but their ambitions to be a top professional club were never going to be realistic. There's just not enough of a fanbase for them to build on and in the process they threw the baby out with the bathwater. Vaguely hopeful that they can salvage something and return to what they always were but it'll be tough because presumably they'll lose all their key assets.
